@@xtucs It's crazy how she has less personality than in the first movie where she was just 'strong sexy empowered female character who shows up the guys who look down on her and uses her sex appeal to manipulate them', not a great character, pretty lame. Hence why the Looney Tunes show made her absolutely hilarious with her 'bubbly obsessive space cadet who comes from money' thing. So then why did they go back to the first character except remove the sex appeal and even the element of men underestimating her. She's literally a more shallow character than the version from the 90's her character is now as flat as her chest.

@mag3nta_m4sk Zendaya is a good actress, but I feel like she suffers from playing herself most of the time, like a number of others. Her MJ grew on me. However, Lola just felt like a more bland version of K.C, from her Disney show. I will fault this to the writers, for wanting too much to "sexualize her less." and make her a strong woman instead of actually giving her a personality fitting for a toon.

The technology in this film is all over the place. The world looks like the modern day, yet both the son and Warner Bros. have futuristic looking technology. In my opinion, the second act, when Lebron meets Bugs and travels with him across the serververse to gather the toons, is the best and most enjoyable part of the whole thing. It's genuinely engaging and fun, the animation and mixing of styles was great, and the references/cameos make a lot more sense there than in the the 3rd act. Everything just went downhill in the 3rd act.

Still find it strange that they decided to ditch Pepe Le Pew while allowing characters from Rated R Movies doing exactly what they said Pepe was doing while allowing a Child Eating clown to appear in the Movie that failed to beat Michael Jordon's record, especially when you throw in Inflation numbers. 27,528,529$ in 1996 is essentially 53,981,708.39$ after inflation in 2023. Lebron's Movie only made 31,053,362 in 2021 when adjusted you get 35,259,302.00$ in 2023.

He's the biggest LT star so I guess the filmakers really felt that the audience were definitely going to be emotionally invested in a scene like this despite how sudden it felt. And even if I'm quite supportive of BugsxLola (primarily thanks to the sitcom) I think the scene might've actually hit quite a bit hard if Elmer Fudd was the one holding him as he was "dying", with it being a direct nod to Bugs' debut short (A Wild Hare) where he did a fake out death sequence in order to continue messing with Elmer, only this time it might've been "for real". Idk, Bugs had just turned 80 the year before this movie came out so I had that in mind.

Fun Fact: Before we got this Nightmare, There were more Ideas for sequels of Space Jam dating all the way back in 1996 after Space Jam was released and all they way in 2005. Here were some Plans: Space Jam 2's Concept arts was made in 1997 and It would've have the same Basketball elements but With a new Villain named "Berserk-o" and was voiced by Mel Brooks, That plan was cancelled since Michael Jordan didn't want to be in the Film. After that, They had more Ideas for a sequel Film with other celebrity Guests. One of which was "Spy Jam" Starring Jackie Chan. But that Idea was turned into 'Looney Tunes: Back in Action'. Later in 2003, Another Idea was "Skate Jam" with Tony Hawk where they Requested Tony to be in the film but he wanted to do his Idea. They want to do this so they can bring back Looney Tunes with "Back in Action" when that was bombed, Skate Jam was gone. There was this Idea after that which is "Race Jam" with Jeff Gordon a race car driver. Now after that, There was a scrapped "Strange" script for a sequel which had Tiger Woods about Golf. All these Sequels were abandoned when "Back in Action" didn't go so well. After "A new Legacy" they want to make a third sequel about Wrestling with Dwayne Johnson. That was later Cancelled because "A new Legacy" didn't made enough. (If people reply with "Fake", "Info Liar" or "Cap" because of "Roblox pfp". It's because I didn't have a good Idea for a Pfp on my channel. Yeah, I know I got into a lot of People just shitting on me bc of my Pfp. IT'S BECAUSE I'M NOT GOOD WITH PROFILE PICTURES. The whole point of Lola was that she never got disrespect, she acted like Johnny Bravo in Sapce Jam but people said it was sexist because she wasn't received with hatred for it like a man would.

Fun Fact, Space Jam 2 actually had a game by Microsoft and a other company and it was licensed after Space Jam 2 and released for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and it remains as a Xbox Exclusive and the game released on Windows 10 and higher for a limited time and the game wss free. And the game was bettet then the movie some how.

They ruined Lola. They cannot decide on a general personality for her, she's had 3 separate personalities not at all similar to each other. Space Jam at least had her be a strong heroine despite her design. Sporty, athletic, played on her looks and embraced her femininity. Looney Toons Show made her quirky, hilarious, had a solid relationship with Bugs. Here...she's just Zendaya in a Lola fur suit. She does nothing Loony. lol One at least had the one moment after her kiss with Bugs. LTS is best Lola. She could have a bit of a mix between LTS and Space Jam one, make her sporty and a bit competitive with a slight wacky personality and her quirks of LTS.

That has to be the unfortunate consequence of not being part of a well established cast for such a long time, aka being 50 years late to the party, and having so little material to work with in a debut where she had little screentime and wasn't exactly very comedic in the same way as the rest, on top of the movie itself being so divisive, hence the inconsistent portrayals and general underutilization. I mean, outside of those 3 major projects you mentioned one can probably count the amount of LT productions that actually used Lola with 2 hands at most. While I and many newer audiences were open / supportive of Lola's addition (heavily sensual or not, her core design is admittedly solid and memorable) and her comedic turnarond in the sitcom was absolutely amazing, I think her inclusion should've handled better for a more realized incorporation and for her to be more accepted overall. As I'm pretty sure most LT diehards / veterans (fans and creators alike) outright rejected or ignored her inclusion for feeling so much like an outlier back then. Her apparently intentional absence from Back in Action basically proves this. But still, there were a handful of classic styled shorts and specials still being made around the time of the first Space Jam so she should've had her debut in one of those before that movie, idk. The sitcom had to do a near complete overhaul of her character, one apparently based on Kristen Wiig's comedic style, in order to fit in with everyone else and make her consistently funny, and over time it's getting more and more evident that everyone aware of this really embraced that change and started to like her a lot more. And the funny part is that what you said at the end did happen before, though in mostly overlooked/underdiscussed media given that between the sitcom and this movie and / or the HBO Max throwback shorts, 2010s LT media went mostly under the radar. There was a direct to video movie (Rabbits Run) and the TV show that succeeded the sitcom (New Looney Tunes, aka the one with the weird artsyle) that did feature Lola and actually kept most of her TLTS personality traits intact, mixed in with a few new ones. She's basically the protagonist of the former, with plenty of comedic dialogue similar to the sitcom; and the latter specifically did restore her sporty/competitive edge while still being wacky. However, she only appeared in a few segments of that show, though I guess it's better than nothing. But alas, Space Jam 2's overcorrection of her original portrayal, which appears to be very in-line with the typical "badass Hollywood heroine" archetype of recent blockbusters, basically stalled that progression back to square one and arguably turned her back into the outlier and a contentious character again, since they forgot to actually make her funny. But hey, SJ2 underperformed enough that maybe its influence could fade away over time (there's that Rick and Morty gag from a recent episode for example, they straight up hated being part of that movie) and Lola can be funny again without her enduring "girl from Space Jam" stigma. TLTS continues to grow in popularity so more and more people are becoming aware of her interpretation there, so let's hope for the best.
