Also l worth noting, I bet Nike WISHES they could take back that scene and have Michael B. Wear the actual space jam 11s lol. This movie (and scene) was probably shot Atleast a year or so ago due to the Covid pandemic. Since then Jerry Lorenzo (founder of Fear of God and designer of the FOG 1) went thru a rocky breakup with Nike and signed with rival Adidas. Obviously with the increased difficulty for a simple reshoot, and the importance of keeping the scene in cause it was obviously a really clever cameo; they were kinda SOL and were forced to keep it in the movie and be reminded of the breakup lol.

Makes sense that big chungus was in there since he isn’t that old of a meme, but Uganda Knuckles is like 2018, it would just be so out of place for them to reference it. You could argue that age doesn’t matter since sanic made a brief cameo, but that’s a legendary meme while Uganda didn’t stick that long.

I love the many crossover they had in the video it really kept me really entertained and I wasn’t expecting the Rick and Morty crossover. Robin was moving crazy in the background.

There was one more easter egg when Don Cheadle dunked on Lebron and said "it's over" with his hands crossing. That was a reference for when Vince Carter did a between the legs dunk in the 2000 dunk contest.

2 Easter Eggs I caught: When they show outside shots of Marvin's ship it says A113, which is usually a Pixar Easter Egg, so I'm guessing it's a little jab at Disney. Then when Tweety gets stomped by the bird guy from the Goon Squad he makes the exact same shape as when he gets stomped by one of the Monstars in the original Space Jam

Its not a Pixar easter egg. That A-113 is a reference to the classroom used by graphic design and character animation students at California Institute of the Arts. Used by many in the biz today, not just Disney or Pixar.
