You’re the only critic I’ve watched that liked it. I thought it was a little weak. Yes it has great CGI but it didn’t have that hit soundtrack like the first one did. I grew up with the original but this one didn’t have that emotional drive to motivate the viewer be a greater version of yourself unlike how the original did.

I completely agree! This movie was amazing and definitely will be in my top 3 of this entire year however it does have some issues like you pointed out but who cares, it's looney tunes. The CGI is good and the characters (looney tunes and don cheadle) were written really well. Also, when Sylvester says "I found Michael Jordan" I legit stoop up and shouted "No Way!" and I instantly sat back down cause everyone was looking at me "what're you doing freak" and I felt so awkward 😅

I definitely enjoyed this movie and agreed with alot of your points. Yeah it isn't perfect, no movie is perfect it's going to have flaws but watching this I never felt bored or wasn't having fun and think that critics are being WAY to nitpicky over the smallest shit. 8.9/10 from me.

I mean at the end of the day this is space jam. People are taking it too seriously. Like space jam has never been perfect if you look at it as a film. But it has a charm of not being taken seriously and its fun because of it

i want the B-plot to be its own movie where Bugs is having a mid-life crisis problem and stuck in the past with old art style and jokes while his friends moved on. and in the end he accept that he need to change with the time. it's kinda cliche i know but it's a really touchy one. i mean, in the movie he got REALLY PISSED when he get turned in to CG.

I loved it. Took my children and my son said "oh my god" in a loud voice when Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner got there first scene. It was a proud moment to say the least and I even had my 1996 Wile E Coyote space jam toy with me. Long live the Looney Tunes!

Curious, when was your screening? I was invited on Sunday to the “premier” at LA live and to find out with many others that there was going to be no screening, just the event. The look on my kids faces was something I will never forget. Such disappointment. Can’t wait to redeem myself with some Dave n busters after the movie Friday night.

I hate that a movie being called “it’s a kids movie.”, is being the excuse of calling it a bad movie. You can make a kids movie that’s actually good and thought-provoking. For example: THE LEGO MOVIE!

Good to here that the 25 year wait for the sequel was worth it to a big fan of the movie. Can’t wait to see it tomorrow! Also winning the Funko POP set would be pretty cool too.

We just watched Space Jam 2, I worked in a theater as a teenager when the first Space Jam came out and here I got to watch the sequel with my own two kids. And one is a teenager! Circle of life and movies! We’d love the Funkos to watch the movie again with them!
