Little late to the show but could you give a short rundown on how that was possible for my new self? I couldn't imagine rampaging over 20 people who should theoretically be able to defend themselves

@@firewalkwithjuno5421 - Energy sword. Strong weapon and very good at blocking melee attacks, such as the swords and daggers cultists use. - Hulk. Grants the user immunity to stuns and slowdown from being too damaged, allowing me to continue fighting despite cult's very strong stunning magic. - Stimpack. Injects the user with stimulants, increasing movement speed and providing slight healing, allowing easier dodging and very small passive healing. - Freedom Implant. Gives the user an implant which removes any cuffs around their hands or bolas around their legs on use, only has a few charges. Works well against the powerful Cultist Bola they have. - Contractor Baton. Just a very strong stunning weapon that keeps Cultists away and down. With the lack of damage slowdown, stun immunity, and heightened speed, I was able to effectively hit and run the cultists, taking a few out then retreating to heal myself with Sutures.

You gave me a huge deja-vu about the "murderboning isn't allowed without good reason, cult is good reason". Way back, i got perma banned on some TG server for the sole reason of slaughtering cultists as doctor.

Skill issue. If you can't kill the hulk in combat, suicide bomb him with water+potass nade. Or use mutadone+frost oil spray (it's icemoon, you can grind the peppers). Make a toxin bomb. Basically, git gud

On /tg/station Manuel, if I was just rampaging through normal crewmembers I'd get in trouble. As they were ascended cultists it was fine.

Well, I mean, y'gotta defend yourself. That's the key issue, y'know? It really is a bit joyless to be runnin' around when you're an experienced player like Melbert boppin' the entire station, because you can absolutely do that effectively, but unless everyone is aware that they are participating in that game (like you are when you're a member of the cult and he's not) then it's just a blitzkrieg of robust steamrolling people who have no idea what's happening, and are doing their own thing entirely independant of Joey Petunia's Big Day Out. That's not a fun experience for anyone but Joey, whereas if you're an antag and you get caught, killing the people who caught you is entirely reasonable (and accepted by the larger community) because they were aware of you the second they caught you, and if they fail it's on them. This entire problem is really far simpler than people are making it, if you're an antag, HUNT YOUR TARGET/GOAL AND SINCERE IMPEDIMENTS BETWEEN YOU AND THAT TARGET/GOAL, don't hunt the station. Joey is justified in targetting cult, because they are a sincere and impending threat to his greentext. 'Least that's how I've always seen it.
