There is a shortage of teachers worldwide. The shortage is caused, in part, not simply by a lack of teachers entering the profession, but because they are leaving it too early. This video - created for the LECTuras de Verano conference 2021 shares the results of doctoral research into how teacher education programs in Quebec can better prepare future ESL teachers to meet the challenges of the classroom.
