I have never done any long term planning and my professor at university, has asked us to watch your video so that we learn the importance of long term planning. Which as a teacher with AHDH, its probably a good idea!

Very helpful! Thanks 😊 Any resources for project based learning with 16-18yo FSL(core) pls? Thanks
@philippaparks2133 Жыл бұрын
Hi Corinne; thanks for your feedback. I don't know if you are interested in media literacy, but one of my favourite sites with *free* resources is mediasmarts.ca which has tons of resources for all different subject matters. In addition, I don't know if you are a member of CASLT (Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers) but we are building a huge bank of training resources as well as professional communities where you can ask questions like this and exchange with other FSL teachers. I will also contact CASLT directly to see if they have anything to help you out :)

Hello, I am an ESL teacher in Montreal. Every year I like to review my ministry documents. I’m confused with the version of the programme de formation here. My version doesn’t include things like internal and external features, for example. Could you advise where I could access this version? Thank you!
@philippaparks2133 Жыл бұрын
Hi Linda, you are right, it can get REALLY confusing! Internal and External features are a part of the RELATED CONTENT linked to competency 2 and 3. You can find it here: www.education.gouv.qc.ca/fileadmin/site_web/documents/education/jeunes/pfeq/PFEQ_anglais-langue-seconde-deuxieme-cycle-secondaire_EN.pdf On pages 26, and a GREAT table on page 54 :) I hope this helps, but if not, keep asking! It's great you are so interested :)

Exactly what I was looking for. All the other videos I watched on KZfaq were focusing on the theories and research made. Your presentation was brief, straight to the point, and the examples provided made all the difference to me. Bravo👏👏👏

Philippa can you please make a video on how to use the CEFR assessment sacles? I am finding difficulties using the sacles when assessing my learners. So many areas to cover and too many details.
@hibzhiba12373 жыл бұрын
Very informative. Helped me understand better the covered terms. Philippa the sound quality is OK on this video but the volume is quite low. It's also low on some other videos. On corrective feedback *part 1* the volume was ok.
