More than likely, you have (or will have) yarns on your shelf that you aren't familiar with. You don't know the fiber or how to space it.
In a later video, I'll walk you through how to identify the fiber. But, in episode 116, I'll be chatting about how to make an educated guess on the sett - the spacing of the warp yarns.
You'll hear me talk about sett, as well as epi - ends per inch. These are both important terms when discussing the plans for your project.
And while you can get very scientific and detailed with your sett, I encourage you to make your best guess and then get to it! Trust your instincts and enjoy the process. Happy Weaving!
