Kent, I suffer from depression and during the pandemic I found your channel and immediately fell in love with it. I’ve really gotten into barbecue and cooking in the last year. Whenever I feel upset or down I just watch your videos and I feel better. May God always bless and shine down upon you, Shannon, and the dogs.

Depression hit me as well when i lost my job. I used this channel and Daddy jacks cooking with the blues to really just get out of bed and figure out how to help others. It isn’t easy but keep going.

Looks yummy. Greetings from old Germany. This old veteran ist joining army again in age of 52 years as reservist. The young people here come to the army without having learned respect and gratitude beforehand. Well ... Then they will learn that in their basic training. I am a craftsman in civil life. Motorcycle mechanic master. So my country decided that I would become a drill instructor with an officer loop. After I have risen to the rank of an officer, I will serve abroad with soldiers who carry the star sprankled banner. I am very glad that you never forget to mention these men. God bless you. Made this today. So Very Good! Best meatball I’ve ever tasted. This is not a “classic marinara” sauce, but it is delicious!!! In the video he says to add “another can of tomato paste”. The recipe doesn’t call for tomato paste, but I think I will add some next time. Everyone loved it. Will definitely make again. And again.

Spaghetti and meatballs is an American dish because when I visited Italy a few times when I was in the Navy I found out that spaghetti and meatballs are two different dishes in Italy and they'll look at you funny when ordering together. In Italy, the meatballs are bigger and the spaghetti is usually served with some sort of red or white meat sauce but not with meatballs. Great video and always looking forward to your next one. 👍✨🍝😋

This reminds me of the spaghetti and meatballs my grandmother cooked up. She didn't make it very often but it was always a treat for a Sunday dinner at her house. She also made a pot of sauce to go along with the pasta.....and her garlic bread was fantastic as well. Now I'm hungry!!!

Man, I thought my dad was the only one to happen upon the idea of smoking meatballs. He'd also do the same with just the regular ground beef if he was making just a regular ol' red meat sauce. Put it flat on a baking tray or cast iron skillet and put it in the grill with plenty of smoke built up and let it go low and slow for a little while. Don't want it fully cooked, just want it to have soaked up some smoke flavour so the resulting sauce tastes like absolute heaven.

My husband and I just got back from TX. We took our camper with the old 96 truck and were hoping to stop by “Cowboy Coffee”, however, ran out of time and had to return to WI. Next year planning you as our first stop! So here’s a crazy question for you & Shannon (and of course the pups), don’t laugh to hard Dear Cowboy! Have you ever made “Keto” versions on any of your wonderful meals? I know, you may be thinking …. What in tarnation’s Keto? (Maybe Shannon can tell ya.) Mr. Kent, Considering whats happening in the world, that can reminded me of when SHTF we will all be wishing we had that can of mess in the pantry! 😂 Might I request a SHTF pantry emergency prep series, or even just one video of foods you would recommend to have stored for emergency situations??
