One word. Marines. Seriously, the AI can fuck you over with port garrisons but they cannot handle a marine landing. Special forces are so great ever since they got changed and marines are pretty much always the best choice as far as I'm concerned as your first special forces unit since you can get their bonuses using naval XP. No more trouble crossing straits, rivers, or making naval invasions and you also get to stack bonuses if you've got an infantry dude and a special forces dude.

About the game using sea to transport supplies You can click on a sea region and block it using the buttons that apear on the inferior left corner of the screen, doing that will make that no supplie or trade route go that way, so your supplies will go by railway

The spanish civil war in vanilla historical works like this : the anarchist spawn in march or april 1937 and the carlist spawn if the nationalist dont control all of the nortern spain before a certain focus ( fuse the parties if im not wrong )

You didn't get claims or wargoals on Panamá because it wasn't part of the viceroyalty of New Spain, it was part of the viceroyalty of New Granada, and it's culturally closer to Colombia (although it has some Central American and Caribbean influence)

With your comment on submarines: They aren't very good alone anymore (and haven't been for a while.) So while you may have a tone of subs, they don't give a ton of naval supremacy because now it's reliant on how much *manpower* is on those ships. So yes, 40 British ships *can* beat 120 subs :)

12:00 if your supply is all being delivered by convoy, cant you just turn naval access in that region off and it'll automatically make supply travel by train? Also, when your troops were going all around south america to get back to your nation, you also couldve set it to avoid the region at the bottom of south america and it would automatically start coming home the correct way, not travel half the world.
