Too bad that he had to force it because of a failed referee behaviour throughout the whole match (Kroos should have been out in minute 6 because of several yellow cards that were forgiven). But still Carvajal didn't leave the field without arguing face to face with the referee that the end of the game should have happened about two minutes before (specially when he let the fault to be played from the very opposite corner (in the German's area). The moment that ball was kicked the end of the match should have happened. It was +6 in a +3 extended period, for God's shake!

Don’t be ridiculous. What about Spain? Just to name two moments out of even more: Carvajal and Nacho; Carvajal should have been sent out with red (not second yellow/red). He wrestled Jamal down without having any chance to get the ball, this was only dirty and unfair game. This has nothing to do with fair play. I don't know what the handball rules are for this tournament, bcuz they change every year, but i thought it should've been a pen until they showed fullkrug's offside position in the buildup. That was really the only controversy, apart from the fact that kroos could feasably have gotten 2 yellow cards in thw first 10 minutes and instead got none, allowing him to stop a very promising spanish attack in the second half (for which he did see yellow).

It was embarrassing that these two teams are even in this round. terrible football they play, so negative... during the first 120 minutes, the players showed us nothing and played absolutely horrible, and after that the two goalies did the same by making barely one save out of the two of them. god damn that was brutal. France fumbles and bumbles through the tourney with no goal from normal play, 2 own goals, 1 penalty and now a penalty shootout. If spain does not beat these pretenders, I won't love football anymore.

Be honest 2. Say that Germany shouldve gotten a penalty for the handball You choose. In the end its probably a fair result (because the ref made bad calls for both teams) but bad refereeing cannot continue to go unpunished.

Second half of overtime had a ton of stoppage with rolling on the floor and amateur drama actors, aswell as Kroos and Ruiz I believe they were runing into each other and then spent a good 2 minutes laying on the pitch at the beginning of the 2nd extra time, plus a couple minutes goal celebration and a good amount of delay when the penalty was not given. There was not alot of actual playing time in that second period.

spain celebrated for 3 minutes when they scored in the 119th minute and they wasted time the entire extra time. surprised the ref didn’t let the game continue for longer. also, the extra time they give isn’t definitive, it’s just the minimum time
