Parece que en España solo existan Barcelona y Madrid. Algunos de rebote viajan a otras ciudades, pero España es muy grande y tiene ciudades y pueblos increíbles, mucho menos explotados que las dos capitales que parecen parques temáticos.

Hi i hope you can and i think easily decribe vegan local food and culture food . many vegans and vegetarians don't venture into that because you know its hard to know names of those dishes and search them all , but i think since you know it all and your team helps you A lot , i think vegan guide book about local meals will be easy as will as vegetarians , vegans always travel to places where they can find vegan places to dine and stuff like that but they don't socialize with food locally for not having a good knowledge , i think this might keep you busy few weeks or so but at the end you are an amazing great guy who loves to help all , thank you so much Mr , and excuse me for my bad English writing if you may , Saud .

Thank you for this video. Interesting that you mention The Moors (a lot) seems like they were impressive Africans whom the Spanish were friends with and then there was a disagreement and they got taken over. So, basically all of Spain had beautifully decorated Moorish architecture and gardens. I'm now very interested in learning about these fascinating, creative engineers who made things look royal and regal. It makes Christians look evil. whew...that's a lot to take in. I'd love to know more 1-day trips (you mentioned the ports) and 30-min train trips to 1-hour flights to get to places like the French Rivera and Rome, Italy!

He is mixing Moors with Arabs, in Spanish Moor means Muslim as well. In 711 an army (which had north-African mercenaries or moors) conquered Spain for Islam, but who took control of Spain were not north-Africans but Arabs, of Syrian and Arabic origin. It was the last Umayyad alive, Abd-ar-Rahman I, who established the caliphate of Cordoba in the middle of the 8th century. When christian armies took Toledo in the last part of the 11th century, the key to the south, Spanish Muslims called for help to North-Africa, and it was the Almoravids, radical Muslims (the ISIS of that era), who took control of Andalusia in the 12th century. Different north-African Berber tribes dominated southern Spain for about a century and a half. The Muslim Spain was unique because it was European, there are no Alhambra.s in North-Africa for god sake. Moors did not bring anything but destruction to Spain.

@LjFJDhs You are very true. I hadn't realised that: A map painted in a given colour doesnt mean a demographic majority of moors in Spain, buth rather the influence area of a military power. Even the north half of Spain was never under the effective moorish rule, there was rather a network of fortresses and castles to survey the frontline and the territory which was by no means populated with moors
@anairenemartinez165
@anairenemartinez165 5 жыл бұрын
The Moors also occupied Portugal and were expelled out of the country a long time before the Spaniards did. The Kingdom of Granada was Moorish, there may not be anyAlhambra in North Africa but Alhambra was Moorish, not Spanish architecture. Also Portugal is a longer continued established country with about the same borders for centuries.

You say Catholics were no longer universal, the name itself means universal. You say the Catholic Church is stronger in Spain, but the majority of Spanish do not attend Mass. As I understand Gallego is a dialect rather than a language.

I was very surprised to hear you talk about Bullfights and Pamplona as "fun". It's a bad culture/tradition and animal abuse. I'd expected you to advice visitors NOT to attend such events.. I used to be a fan of your travels, now I'm very disappointed. Rather show us more of ancient history, less churches, more vegetarian food and nice beaches. I'm a Scandinavian and love Spain for the climate and good vegetarian food, fruits, wine, music and hospitable people!. Catalonia hates bullfighting by the way...
