That Portuguese dude coming over to show you how to cook them so they are edible...I believe him. I ran an oceangoing tug and my deck crew consisted primarily of Portuguese seamen, they fished a lot, and I never saw them release anything they caught...TRUE!

Hey BlueGabe there's nothing better than to teach and take out the kids to learn how to fish, camp and hunt!! It's so much fun just watching the kids having fun and knowing that you've had fun watching them. I remember back in the early and mid 80's I would take about 13 from my block fishing and they would have so much fun that they always would look for me just to take them out fishing and it's now 33, 35 years later and all those kids have children of their own and they thank me and treat me as if I was their grandfather!!! I truly enjoyed what I did for the kids of the future and I'd do it again because there ain't nothing like teaching our children of the future. You're doing a wonderful job as a Dad and babysitter!!! Keep doing what you're doing!!!/

Ive caught tons of sardines and on days where nothing is biting we even grill those jokers!!! Olive oil, sea salt, pepper, rosemary,lemon.....goood eating!!!

I like the fact you use most part of the fish. I even seen you use the head as well, now that’s what I’m talking about Gabe! We don’t like wasting anything when it comes to food and that makes me so happy. The only difference is that we cook it as whole depending on the size of the fish or we cut them bigger than steak pieces. I love the way you entertain the kids and you can tell they love it. Make more videos with the kids.👍

We catch a lot of big fish here in north Bama noodling, graveling, whatever you wanna call it. I’ve grabbed some 70’s and 80’s under a few boat ramps in my time lol. I’d much rather have those big flatheads to eat but I don’t keep em when they’re spawning like that. About a month after they come out of the holes I catch em on rod and reel but there’s something about grabbing a big fish by hand that gets me out and after em every year. Sometimes if they’re in a deep hole we have to use pvc pipe and a treble hook to get em. Either way it’s fun. Enjoy and be safe and keep the cool vids coming.

When the spanish mackerel are runnin strong they hit anything. I even caught one on one of those sabiki live bait rigs with a 4.5 foot ultralight off the pier. Absolute blast when they run thru and you can basically catch one every cast for like 30 mins straight off a simple spoon lure. And yeah they're pretty good eatin too.
