If I were British, I could understand that the UK has sovereignty, according to an international treaty, over the castle, the port and the waters of the port. What would make me ashamed as a British citizen is to have illegally STOLEN and OCCUPIED the rest of Gibraltar, not only that, Gibraltar is a tax haven.

The Ultrecht treaty indisputably establishes that the UK has sovereignty over the castle, the port and the waters of the port of Gibraltar, the rest of the territory has been illegally occupied. UK has to vacate the stolen territory, those waters are Spanish, it is not debatable. ,

@@octavio9943 it includes the town as well (which is why the requirement to deal with moors and jews) see article X. It also requires a border post be put up (without open communication by land with the country round about). The concept of the uk having the territorial waters stems from the "with all manner of rights" I accept that this differs from article xi which handed minorca to the uk. Do we want to talk about article xii or is that a bit racist
