Omg I can't express enough how much I appreciate your videos, I have tried to learn Spanish a few times in the past but then I had to stop due to work/ life being really busy. A few weeks ago I went to Toledo for a weekend and my motivation is back. I learn some vocabulary every day and repeat them using Anki, Duolingo and other useful videos. I decided to add listening quite early on my Spanish journey and even if I understand only a few words I don't give up. You speak clearly and not too fast for beginners, as long as we can separate most of the words is perfect. You talk about general and easy topics people are familiar with which is also a massive help. I am polish and I wish I had access to that kind of videos when I started learning English. People think that you need to know so many words because if not it is pointless to listen to something you don't understand. I thought the same when I started learning English, in my opinion I was never ready enough for listening and definitely not for speaking. People very often forget that we learn a different language to communicate not to write perfect essays. We will make mistakes, even natives make them, but as long as we can communicate in different language we are winners. Thank you so much for your work and letting us watching and learning for free. Este es un ejercicio maravilloso para mí. Trabajan muy bien juntos como pareja y el material es interesante e informativo y se muestran muy naturales y sinceros. También hay algo de buen humor. Algunas intencionales y otras no intencionales. Por ejemplo, en México nunca "cogemos" un tren. Sería bastante indecente. En su lugar "tomamos" un tren. Tampoco utilizamos la palabra "matasuegra". Somos más amables con nuestra suegra. En su lugar utilizamos "espantasuegra". Muchas gracias a ustedes por sus esfuerzos... ¡son los mejores! (Bob Mrotek, Irapuato, Gto. MX)

Aprendí como conducir un coche en tres semanas en las fuerzas aereas hace cincuenta años, o mejor, .aprobé el examen en aquel tiempo pero llevo seis años aprendiendo español y me parece que no esté mejorando mucho. Sea lo que sea, nunca voy a rendirme. Mi entrenador tampoco no va tirar la toalla. Hay que hincar codos.

¡Hola, Andrew! Es cierto que algunas habilidades (como conducir un coche o, por ejemplo, mecanografía) se adquieren más rápido, pero el mecanismo es el mismo. Tienes que practicar sí o sí. En cuando a tu progreso en español, eso depende de muchos factores (el tiempo que le dediques todos los días, tu rutina de aprendizaje, etc). Por ejemplo, si escuchas mucho más que hablas, evidentemente te va a costar hablar. Yo, por ejemplo, escucho mucho inglés, pero raramente lo hablo, por eso me cuesta hablarlo con fluidez... Por otro lado, a lo mejor solo te parece que no estás mejorando... A lo mejor sí estás mejorando poco a poco, lo que pasa es que llegado a cierto nivel (y parece que tú has llegado a este nivel) el progreso es muy lento. Al principio, cuando empiezas a aprender un idioma, el progreso es muy rápido: puedes llegar a A2 en semanas, si te lo propones. Pero claro, luego las cosas se complican ;) ¡Así que mucho ánimo! Y recuerda que el idioma es solo una herramienta, no tienes que hablarlo perfectamente para disfrutarlo ❤ ¡Saludos desde Mallorca! Olga

Hola Olga y Miguel, Muchas gracias por este video que me gustó mucho y sobre todo la secuencia sobre el sorteo del Gordo y las preparaciones de la Nochebuena, Nochevieja y del llegar de los Reyes Magos. Nunca había oído de todo eso. Y también me gusto mucho la secuencia sobre los perros vagabundos porque estaba lleno de afección que falta ahora lamentablemente. Vuestros vídeos siempre contienen muchas informaciones interesantes y útiles sobre la vida en España y son cada vez más enriquecedoras.Os escuchar y ver me encanta.

All the conversations are the same level (B1-B2). The difference is that in this video we try to speak slower :)
