i know i'm 2 years late, but if you or anyone reading this have problems like this, i may have some advice. so for context, i work in a mexican restaurant and i had the same problem while trying to learn, but i discovered that if you want to learn, you're going to have to commit and, at times, embarrass yourself. my advice is this (and this works best if you're in a work environment): find someone you can communicate with in ways beyond verbal language, like hand gestures. over time, you'll need to build a bridge for better communication, so point to something and say "cómo se dice?" and listen carefully, repeat it yourself, and ask them "así?" or "correcto?" the hardest part is not feeling comfortable, so if you can find just one person that you feel even just a little comfortable with, progress is well on the way.

"es muy perfecto" is not correct. You should say, "es perfecto" or, for example, "solo quiero decir que los vídeos que haces son perfectos" and never "son muy perfectos". Don't ask me why. But believe me, I'm spanish.

The personal "a" is not needed here because there is no object in the sentence. "Es" is a linking verb and cannot take an object, so "la misma persona" cannot function as an obect in this sentence, and therefore, no personal "a" is needed.. "Visitar," on the other hand, DOES take an object, and its object is "la misma persona," so the personal "a" is required in that sentence.

However you also could use "creo QUE lo mismo que tú" if, for example someone asks you "What are you gonna choose?" ( "¿qué vas a escoger?" ) and you answer "creo QUE lo mismo que tú" ( I guess the same as you)

Didn't Paul say that this use of "que" was an exception to the normal rule of using "como"? So my guess would be that they're not interchangeable here.

Even you can say it and write it without De . Just Debo comer or Debo dormir or Debo estudiar. Both ways are correct..... Debo de dormir or Debo dormir.

I've been speaking, reading, and writing Spanish for over 43 years, and I've never encountered "deber de." I've only ever encountered "deber."

@@thekschannel8563 Totally agree with you. Moreover is well said "Debería comer verduras" = "I should eat vegetables". In that way we are using the word "Debería" without the word "de".

The same difference that exists between "same" and "equal" in English.

It’s not that is not pronounced, it’s just pronounced so softly and aspirated that comes out like the English “H” similar to a “jota” Spanish sound, we native speakers hear it clearly but I can see how non native speakers would have difficulty catching it.

I say ought also ... its very common in some countries .. and used quite often .. you ought to find a new friend ... you ought to go out ... etc. Just saying.
