In this Indonesia Travel Vlog we head to SPARK aka the Senayan Park Mall in Jakarta to check out the amazing skywalk we heard so much about! When we arrived at the SPARK Skywalk, we found out that it was free to enter...however you needed to have a receipt proving you spent at least 50,000 Rp ($3.36 USD) in the mall. We decided this was the perfect excuse to try some more Indonesian food!
First we returned to where we saw these HUGE bakso meatballs! Luckily the meatball came with noodles. We also thought there was an egg inside the meatball, however there was no egg! While we had fun trying the bakso, as it was 'Indonesian street food' it didn't come with a receipt! We had to order more food. Instead of more meat, we decided to look for some veggie options! Luckily we ran into the restaurant Taliwang Bali which had some vegetarian food options we could try! We ended up ordering tipat cantok which was full of rice cakes, veggies, and peanut sauce. It was amazing!! We also got a receipt when we paid that could be used for the Senayan skywalk!
On the way up to the skywalk we decided to order some frozen yogurt for dessert which sounded like a great thing to enjoy with rooftop views of Jakarta, however you aren't allowed to take food onto the skywalk!! Once we finished our ice cream, we were finally able to enter the skywalk and see our first nighttime views of Jakarta! Jakarta is so pretty at night!!!
