I love the little sparkle you get when you move the piece around.

Thanks. I love the blessing filament. It's so subtle. Bling isn't my style, so it's a way of adding sparkle without it being too much. Glad you like it.

Hi Rebecca, I am relatively new to your channel and discovered you while searching for videos on applique techniques. I am from the Midlands UK. Crochet is my main craft, but for the crochet course I am undertaking, I need to include at least one other craft and so need to brush up on my embroidery skills whilst trying to learn applique. I had no scraps of fabrics and so am currently purchasing scrap bags from online stores and one or two kits, in the hope I can learn enough to make my own design. It is going to be a slow process but I am now hooked on your brilliant videos from which I am learning such a lot and really look forward to Sunday afternoons for the next one! Thank you.

A good way to build scraps is Charm packs are Inch squares and mini charm packs are just 2.5 inches. All the fabric coordinated too I do prepared edge applique which I find looks better then needle turn, check out Karen Kay Buckley interview from 2020 with AQS

Hi Rachel. So glad you are here. Textile art is addictive. Once you start building your stash, it's hard to stop. I am from the Midlands originally too. Lovely to meet you. 🤗
