I love this video, especially looking back in retrospect! Sparkle is one of my favorite characters, and I think her development throughout the story is really interesting. I agree with nearly all of what you said, but I think 1 crucial point about Sparkle's character is that she performs not only for herself, but for and with others. Her being the path of harmony is a huge key to this that a lot of people overlook. Sparkle is certainly constantly chasing after elation, yes, but I feel that she not only is looking for herself to feel elation, but others as well. All of her actions throughout the story are because she is trying to nudge people to the truth of penacony, putting them into her desired positions in the play she is creating for herself and others. Perhaps it's a natural evolution from her focus towards herself being the only character to making everyone else characters, too. The one thing I disagree with is that she does everything only for herself - I feel a huge part of her character, as implied with Black Swan's voiceline about her, her development, etc. is that she wants everyone to recognize her performances and experience the elation for themselves. Again, I think this is why she is harmony path - a path about cooperation, collaboration, and understanding. She understands those she meets, molds herself into a character that they prefer/that fits the current situation, and puts on her grandest performance with everyone around her as the unknowing actors. The way she consistently addresses the viewer directly, inviting them to join in on her fun, to watch her, to look, to pay attention, to applaud, to experience elation, lends more credence to this. Such as her light cone description, where she's inviting the viewer to watch the fireworks with her for fun, or the most recent video, where she asks the viewer if they experienced true elation at the penacony story conclusion (which is debatable, considering we may be still stuck within the dream/samsara) I think all of her stories may be true in some way. Like you said, it's only natural for a writer to put parts of themselves into their stories. Perhaps Sparkle was an orphan(?) girl (story I) who struggled with feeling emotions (story III) and turned to acting as a way to put herself in the shoes of the people around her (story II) to actually experience their emotions and in search of meaning, individuality, and recognition. This would explain why she has no trouble wrestling with morals, and/or why she is so addicted to her performance. The implication that she is bound to the mask, as in story II, may also further explain her saying she feels like it's an addiction - a key point which does bind all 3 stories together. They all follow some line of being addicted to performance and acting. Sparkle is not only flexing her creative muscles, but also desperately seeking to not only be seen, but to experience and share that elation with those around her. She is elation, but I feel she was chosen for the path of harmony for a very specific reason - as opposed to something like the hunt or the erudition, which many argue seem "more fitting" for her character. If you think about it, it's not. Sparkle is not selfish nor selfless, she's not evil nor good, she's not moral nor amoral. She's just Sparkle. Sorry for this really long comment! Sparkle is my absolute favorite and looking back on this video gave me some interesting thoughts about her character TwT

Great story telling, I will be looking forward to the Acheron Story. Nice to see the Microphone improvement. Much easier to hear you now. I hope you improve the Dr. Ratio video too because i would love to watch it again.
