6 жыл бұрынYeeeeah surprise, i'm not dead everybody, i'm still here ;)
Just had a really busy and exhausting summer/autumn so yeah, there was not much motivation for editing either. At least not enough to get any further with my projects. I did start a few earlier this year, but oh look, we have december already. I was eager to finish this one tho since the Blake siblings and their dysfunctional relationship is like my favorite thing on the show. So i'm thrilled to finally be done with this tribute, not only cause of them also cause i had to let go of this project for my own sake.
This one is not about sraight forward storytelling, cause i felt like we've seen a lot of these around. I focused more on their feelings for each other and the constant back and forth. I know it's damn long, too long probably. But i couldn't help it, there's just A LOT of them.
I hope some of you will enjoy it tho. And yeah, can't wait to get back into vidding with new - less exhausting - projects :D

I wish I had the words to describe the genius of this video, the perfection of it. There are literally no words. Like in all your other videos, you once again captured the essence of the characters' stories, the core of who they are, and what pushes them forward and down. This time though, you manage to capture in perhaps the most perfect essence, one of most complicated and deeply flawed sibling relationships I have ever seen. Octavia and Bellamy, while products of the same environment, are different as the moon and the sun. Yet throughout the series, they are undeniably mirrors of each other, in the best and worst ways. And you managed to show all that in 5:18 seconds. Amazing, just amazing...

What's sad is that Bellamy in Octavia's eyes is so much more then just her brother, he had to be her father, her best friend and her protector, he was quite literally her everything for 17 years ... I love their relationship and you managed to capture it perfectly, thank you for that ....

I can’t stop crying now, this video si absolutely amazing! Octavia and Bellamy are probably the main reason I kept watching the show all this time, and even though I sometimes hate Bellamy right now, I can’t wait for the Blake sibling to reunite and remember how much they actually love each other

Anja...i'm...speechless. First of all, I can't believe it's here?!!??! And 5:18?!?! This has become one of my all time favourites of yours. It was just so seamless and all the parallels & voice-overs worked so amazingly. But the most incredible thing is how you managed to capture their relationship so beautifully. There were so many parts that gave me literal chills. The intro 0:00-0:30... oh GOD bye my heart already stopped w/ the radio. 1:08-1:24 ajksdasjdlk, 3:34-3:47 was so beautiful- there's something about this little section that hit me really hard, 3:57-4:19 (and this part especially killed me). AHHH i'm just so happy you finished this masterpiece and wow just WOW

Sibling videos are my favorite videos and this is the best one I have ever seen!! I always cling on to siblings in the shows I watch and want the best for them because I’m so close to mine. This is the best video I have watched ever. So beautiful

I don't think there are words that can do this video justice first of all, seeing a 5+ minutes about a platonic relationship is always amazing for me, because I love this kind of relationships, and they're so underrated most of the time secondly, these two are now my only reason to keep wathing the show the other was jonty, and I don't have that anymore third your freaking perfect editing like, I can't even process how perfect this video is everything about it is perfect I added it into my favourites after like 10 seconds the parallels, the voiceovers, the scenes how the editing is so basic and yet so beautiful this is a masterpiece and I'm gonna rewatch it so many times

Anja, I don't even know what to say! My heart aches so bad after watching this, but in a good way, I promise! You've set such an incredible tone throughout this entire video. The radio back in forth at the beginning broke my poor little heart. The amount of amazing parallels in this blows my mind. Apart of me felt like while watching this, I was watching them all over again for the very first time, and every word they said to each other hurt as much as it did while watching the show. Another thing, I can't believe i just watched a 5 minute long video... it felt so short, and I felt so captured by every second. I can't even imagine how long this one must've taken you to make, and I know how much you doubted yourself about it on Twitter, but it's impossible for you to ever fail us. You're a true artist! And I'm so thankful for this video to prove just how amazing Bob & Marie are at capturing this incredible brother/sister relationship.

That was my goal tbh. No matter who you like or not, i wanted the viewers to focus just on them as siblings. And make them see that they're so similar and yet so different. And they do have this beautiful deep love for each other, despite how unhealthy and dysfuntional the rest of it is. So i guess i succeeded :') thank you so much for your kind words ♥

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this pop up. I'm gonna need to watch it a few more times before I can leave a coherent comment but I just wanted to say thanks for making it. The Blake's are my favorite dynamic on the show and you most definitely did them justice. I'd have to disagree with you about there being no storytelling because I thought you told their story more completely and perfectly than I've ever seen. Beautifully edited. omg, OMG, oh my.... I don't know how many times I've seen this already but it gets me every single time. That's what you do. I knew this was going to be something else, not only cause your editing is so on point always but because I know how much you love them. You portrayed their relationship in a way I've never seen before, no storytelling, just messy feelings, with such a complex structure but still you managed to make it so crystal clear **bows down** I'm in love with the vibe of this video, there's so much pain, betrayal, love, rage, everything! but still is so calm and hypnotic, is fast and slow... And I love how quiet it starts. THE PARALLELS!!! like..... HOW?!¿!? I feel like I already analysed this video, every second of it. Still I'm going to mention some of my fav parts sfkñghfkdñgdfkñdg 0:26- that "bellamy?" still feels so pure, I love the contrast between the tones they use to say each others names; 0:31-0:53 love the movement in here, the quote and how you got everything together, it just feels right; 0:53-1:01 it kills me! the scenes you choosed here matching the quotes sdlfhhfgjkdl; 1:04 I'm still in love with this rare clip; 1:06-1:13 **sobbing** ; 1:19-1:35 I'm running out of words...; 1:35-1:47 the hands, the desperation, Bellamy reaching for something that's missing, "is time to let go"... "i lost her" well, I'm dead! thank you :'); 1:53.... you know the drill... our secret xD; 1:56- 1:58 those looks!!; 1:58 the change of the music and the change of the video itself is so fitting, I love those cute sof moments + the "I'm sorry" parallels; 2:08 "are you ok?" no, I'm not; 2:11 that clip with Octavia is so damn cute, is everything!; 2:22- 2-32.... yup, is all so calm and the BAM! right on the feels, that clip at 2:25

This is so beautiful! I'm speechless! I don't like Octavia, but her relationship with her brother is really interesting and hard to watch sometimes. It's amazing how horrible we can be to the people we love. And this video shows exactly that. The pain they have cost each other, and how they even hated each other sometimes, but they share a bond that can't be broken. Amazing! Bravo! This is the first video of yours that I watch, i'm sure it won't be the last. ❤

So I haven't watched this show in ages but oh my goodness did you make me feel all the pain and love between these siblings. Forgetting your perfection in editing skills, the way you showed how these two may fight and, at times, even hate each other, after everything is said and done, they love each other and would do anything to protect the other (especially Bellamy with Octavia). This is just so good and your editing and voiceovers and parallels GOD, i have no words!!!!

How do you keep doing this, time after time? How do you create such perfect character studies or tributes with every single video you make? These two have one of the most complex dynamics I've ever seen on tv and film, and you captured it perfectly. I love how you started with the dysfunctional side of their relationship and how they both contribute to it. The parallels were so well placed and as always this video had an incredible build-up towards the other sides of their relationship. I love how it ended with how much they love each other, because in the end that's what their relationship comes down to. I don't think any other video I've seen managed to capture the real relationship between these two, but you did. Thank you so much for this beautiful study of the Blake siblings!

@@sparksfly221 Really, you don't realize how much it affected me. I'm the kind of person who watches A LOT of multifandom, edits, and so on. Many of them are "nice". Just nice. Some, very well done. But this one.... it gathers everything I need to see: techniques, emotions, intelligence behind the gesture and an amazing music from one of my favorite musician. You're gifted. Keep doing that. Please. I need content like yours on KZfaq. From now, I will just come back here and watch it, over and over again. Pretty sure it won't fail making me cry, not even once.
