A LOT of these guys on the internet don’t know anything about boxing. Sparring is to get better, get better conditioned, conditioned to getting hit, so in a fight, you won’t be alarmed by the weight and velocity of the shots. MAINLY though, sparring is an exploratory exercise and is the only real time without “WINS & LOSSES” where you can test and try certain things out that you’ve been working on during camp or even in the gym. I’ve sparred a WHOLE LOT. Mature folk never leave the session talking about “you lost” “I beat him “ etc, because you aren’t necessarily getting 100% of the guy fighting. You’re getting the riskier, exploratory version and sparring is how you get better and become a better all around fighter. It’s a LEARNING tool.

That's Carlos Adames, a really good Middleweight with a 75% knockout ratio that Bud is sparring with, and Bud rocked him at least 3 times. Adames is 23-1 and has never been stopped. After watching them spar, I'm even more confident that Bud stops Errol, and I'm no longer concerned about Errol's punching power. Bud's chin is definitely up to the task, but is Errol's chin going to be solid enough to let him hang onto those three belts,or will Bud be breaking out the tartar sauce?

The fact that people still even use sparring videos to rate fighters is bogus to me ... first these guys are different weight classes and second this is a feel -out exercise so the object is to get hit in some instances also for good counter work .. Lets just wait it out...Bud for the win tho

He dangerous. No one wants to fight him. Dominican fighters are really athletic, tough and skilled, but they don’t have a fan base following. It’s too much of high risk and low reward to fight them

J Williams is just a sparring guy at this point. Yes he's 160 fighter but his work rate can't come close to matching Errols nor does he train in 103 degree Texas heat relentlessly as Errol. Bud try that shit vs the Real Deal and watch his eyes get shut and body began to shut down from pressure cooking body shots. Errol in 10 🦈 🥊
