How did you go about making your own blue line template. I've seen other artist's do commissions on customized paper like that. I'd like to make my own. Any recommended way to go about it ? Great work by the way

+everythingshivers You can get them a few places. Ka-Blam.com has a really good one and you can just redesign over top using the same proportions. hey awesome video just asking what size do you use for your canves and your canves says ram studios how did you do that im kinda a noob at sketchbook pro7

I designed the canvas in Photoshop. Just download one of the many templates you can get from online and redesign your own the way you want. Then save the file at a good size so that when you import it into Sketchbook Pro it looks nice. Then save that file and work over top with layers. I usually work at 11x17 @ 300dpi when doing comics. I am looking for a book or books that has the best collection of comic book art. Do you know of a book with the best representation of comic book renderings? I'm new to comics and don't know why I never got into it soon. I don't know why I'm late to this art form.

moofushu Not sure about a full collection of greats in one book. Would be a nice thing to have. I would just start collecting your favorite books and styles. I pick up a lot of my favorite artist's work. I hate to say that I just buy certain books for the art........but I do! :)

I have pro 6 is it worth the cost to upgrade to pro 7? BTW love the art. Spawn is my all time favorite.

at the beginning of the video it looked like it could of been a cool looking Black Panther drawing (knew it wasn't), have you drawn any Black Panther? would love to see that...

No but I can add it to the list. I don't do too many copyright characters because I can not monetize the videos. Sounds greedy I know but at some point you have to say, "If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense!" - j/k I will try to do that real soon. Black Panther is a cool character to draw anyways. Can you tell us what your image settings were: Page dimensions, image resolution and pencil nib width, please?

I work at 11x17 300dpi or proportionate to that. The nib size varies to whatever line I am making. Hope that helps you. Good luck with your art and thanks for watching!

Ever since I could pick up a pencil but I started drawing comics at about age 15. I am 39 now so about 24 years. But, I do take breaks to eat and sleep occasionally. Thanks for the cool comment and for watching! :)

+Robert Marzullo You have to give respect when it's due. I had fun watching all that cross hatching action! Do you mind if I ask what equipment you're using? tablet, computer ect. I currently mess with sketch book pro but on a phone, and it's fun but I'm not taking advantage of all the software.

+303inks I used a Wacom Cintiq with a Mac Book Pro system. It runs very fast and Sketchbook Pro has no brush lag that I have ever seen. Thanks for the awesome comment! :)

Your art is good. Could've done without the music. Your fingers are a little fat. Also, what is the point of using the non repo blue if you are doing it on the computer? I'm not hating on your post just a little constructive Criticism.
