Those LDMOS are sensible to input power. You must take care not to overshoot them. I own the same amplifier (version 2, as I think the displayed one is also), and I have tortured it with long high power digital transmission time and sometimes bad antennas for a couple of years and never got a problem. Nice to know how to adjust the BIAS... just in case.

@@erics.8340 Hello Eric, yes of course. A friend was using FT8 on my Kenwood TS-990 which is an extremely destructive mode on any amp, it's a weak signal mode. Had I known he was going to use The FT8 mode I would have stopped him but in this hobby anything can happen. Be careful who you let DX with your equipment.
