I love how you guessed the plot twist of the movie early on. Yes, the survival instinct of Bjørn and Louise is akin to a deer stepping out of the bushes and careening straight towards a truck that's going 100mph. It's downright infuriating, but I guess there are people who act that way in those kinds of dire situations; their idea of self-preservation just shuts off completely. This is all the bunny doll's fault! 😆 Watch "Eden Lake" next, if you haven't.

Oh god, yes, I've seen Eden Lake... I was kind of ready for some sort of violence with that one though, with Speak no Evil I had no idea how far they would go. It's going to stay with me for a long time... 😅

If you noticed those psychos were looking for such kind of people specifically and tested how far they can go with them. It all started at the swimming pool when that psycho asked to take the chair they used to put their closes but then he put his closes on the chair he took. It is not only Bjørn and Louise, there is a bunch of other people acted like them (you can see their photos in the shed).

I wholeheartedly blame bjorn for leading his family into this whole debacle. I don't know if it's the praise he received from that psycho when they met or the steady shower of compliments but he is so willing to ignore all warning signs to keep that exhilaration going. Almost like a school boy being applauded by his "cooler" friend. His wife had good instincts and was against the visit from the start till he mentioned it at the dinner table and he convinced her with everyone present. I feel so sorry for the little babies 😢

I did hear that there was another ending where they showed that multiple families were doing this as part of some cult, but they decided against it. I also kind of like that they simply got away with it. There are some sick people out there and not all of them get their comeuppance. Personally I feel this adds to the horror.

I watched this film about a week ago, great film but the ending really pi@£ed me off! The fact they did nothing to fight even after their child had been taken and allowed themselves to be killed! I hope the American version changes the ending! It's a good ending in the original but not satisfying! Like you said FIGHT for your child, your child comes first.

It was an incredibly uncomfortable ride indeed... There is absolutely nothing satisfying about this film, except the fact that it was really good. Like a rollercoaster ride that is horrible, but when you get off you're still like; 'That's one of the better rollercoasters'.😅
