Thanks for this piece of Wonderful News, Peder! As you were asking for suggestions: I was checking your website out and I see you have some articles and videos on pronunciation. I was wondering if there would be something else on the topic of pronunciation that were worthy to deep! You might come out with some complementary video on the main features of the "standard" pronunciation. Greetings from Medellin, my friend!

Your videos are really helpful. Without the subtitles they wouldn't be much use for learning as it would be too difficult, but the subtitles make them great, because when you are talking you can see what you are saying in English, so you start picking up words, plus sentence structures. I have heard that a lot of people who can speak English really well, learnt a lot from English speaking movies with subtitles and I can now see how effective it is. I have been subscribed to you for quite a while! Thanks for making them.

I am upper intermediate level in Norwegian Bokmål and these videos are really good for someone that’s intermediate level, and also for beginners, especially when watched in combination with many different kinds of vocab videos as well as many videos on prepositions and grammar - when I was beginner level, I watched all the Simple Norwegian videos multiple times over a period of time, until I learned almost all those words, and I also watched the video with 2.000 Norwegian words, and also those vocab videos with words for fruits / flowers / spices etc from the yt that has the name Karen in it, and I learned over 90% of all those words, plus I memorized all those lyrics in Norwegian that are about Disney movies like Frozen and Nightmare Before Christmas and Vaiana etc, which are also really good for beginners, and I still watch all of them regularly, until I can remember every single word automatically, and I always watch the videos on this yt in combination with those other videos, which helps a lot, plus I watch each video from this yt with the English sub once and multiple times with the Norwegian sub, and it’s easier now because I already know over 80% of all the words used in these videos, and every time I rewatch them, I remember more and more words, so they require multiple watches, like, watching them regularly, over a period of time, usually watching each video twice per session! I have also learnt Dutch to a really advanced level, and I am upper beginner level in Old Norse and Icelandic and intermediate level in Swedish and German, and beginner level in Gothic / Danish / Luxembourgish / Norn / Limburgish / East Norse / Yola / Old English etc, and writer level in English! I have been learning all these Nordic / Germanic languages 2gether and I started learning languages on my own about 11 months ago or one year ago - lately I’ve been focusing a lot on Norwegian and Old Norse and Icelandic and the other Nordic languages and Dutch, and I feel like I can definitely get to an advanced level in Norwegian by the end of this year as I am pretty close because I definitely know over 5.000 words at the moment and I can understand almost everything in these videos, like 80 to 90 percent, depending on the topic!

By the way, I also have some video suggestions and ideas - for example, a series of multiple videos on rare words and words with multiple meanings and poetic words as well as idioms / phrases / expressions etc and many descriptive terms and descriptive verbs that are used a lot by writers etc and names of plants and less known plants etc, which can be mixed with words that are used a lot, like, half rare words / half vanlige words, and a lot of videos on verbs with about ten verbs per video maybe, especially verbs that aren’t used a lot because those are not easy to find, for example, I can find many videos on verbs like å drikke / å leke / å se etc, but, I couldn’t find any videos on verbs such as to twang / to fret / to dwindle / to whet / to thwart / to wring / to squelch / to binge / to squeeze / to tilt / to sweep etc, which are those kinds of verbs that aren’t used a lot by most ppl, so it’s not easy to find resources on how to use them in a sentence in Norwegian, and even tho I can find many of them on Google translate, it doesn’t really show examples of full sentences and how they can be used correctly in a sentence, and, I know that many verbs can be used in a different way in another language, so I am a bit afraid to use a verb like that if I haven’t seen it used by others before, because I may be using it incorrectly, or maybe it is a reflexive verb in Norwegian and I may end up using it as a non-reflexive verb, so I highly recommend making many videos on such verbs in combination with a few vanlige verbs in each video, and also, a lot of videos on idioms and regional / dialect terms and idioms, which are also super important, because Norway has a lot of dialects and different versions of the language, and also more descriptive videos such as the previous videos, describing the elements of nature that can be seen around and the animals / birds etc that are nearby, as all these videos are very helpful for both intermediate level learners and for beginners / upper beginners!
