Acabei de perceber a diferença entre o "O" aberto e fechado nas palavras -"bolo" e "bola". O avô e a avó comeram bolo e jogaram bola. Essa aula foi muito útil. Muito obrigada, Virginia.

Sério?😮 Geralmente a dificuldade de pronúncia vem das diferenças fonéticas entre a língua que você está aprendendo e sua língua nativa.

Verdade, sou canadense e aqui a gente aprende francês quando somos crianças. Acho que isso ajuda meu sotaque a ser melhor do que a maioria dos americanos que aprenderam espanhol kkkk

Eu sou estadounidense e meus pais falam um idioma eslavo (Serbocroato) e por isso muitos dos sons do português do Brasil me parecem muito naturais e instintivos. É interesante.

I remember seeing somewhere that gosto as a verb and as a noun are pronounced differently, one with an open O and one with a closed O. But I don't remember which one is which. I must say that's the most confusing.

Yes, the verb “gostar” conjugated for the first person “eu gosto” (I like) is pronounced with the open O. The noun “gosto” (taste) is pronounced with the closed O.

Geralmente é pronunciado como "S" quando há "Ç" Exemplo: Caçada(pronuncia-se Kassadah)

yes and it is pretty common in daily use. For example: "lá" not nasal means there and "lã" nasal means wool.

Há que ter cuidado com as letras "D" e "T", pois aqui no Nordeste não as pronunciamos como "Dje", "Dji" e "Tchi" e "Tche" como o pessoal do Sul do Brasil, mas as falamos de maneira mais "fiel" ao original.

Olá! Verdade, mas depende do estado e cidade. Em muitos lugares no Nordeste, as letras D e T são pronunciadas como foi ensinado no vídeo. Eu sou nordestina também e sempre pronunciei “dji” e “tchi”. Obrigada por assistir!
