I have a few wildfire matchups in my "FREE SILVER? Abusing The New Mists!" video from a little back. Generally you won't see so many wilfire players in solo mists bacause the weapon is immobile (low mobility) and is kind of considered a worse curse. If you run into wildfire they will usually play low tier and you will win because of IP difference.

Honeslty, guardian helmet is a bad option for the helmet slot, even more now when mage cowl received a nerf because it counters it. I would not recommend using it at all but i use it because i just like it but objectively it's bad. Fiend cowl is strong, it can be used to purge the most valuable buff based ability from your opponent, either combat oriented to win fights or to purge boots to easier chase and kill opponents. Fiend cowl will be stronger in open world because of the veriety and some people who does not want to fight. Hunter hood is the best for combat, it will shine in the mists & cds because of it's nice and constant value in amost all fights, it also hard counters some weapons such as bow of badon, buff oriented/burst builds etc. In a straight 1v1 cultist cowl will be good aswell.

I think you can make a case for both being strong. If they are using royal sandals with 3rd active impaler will make more sense since you can't cripple toggle based buffs. Generally i like cripple, it's also better suited for kiting and dealing with several opponents and 3rd party. But impaler is the stronger 1v1 combat tool. If you are lower IP than the opponent i would pick impaler aswell. Try out both for yourself and see what works 👍

It is fine i think, but it requires a lot more work to make it strong compared to other weaponlines, spear is limited in the amount of content where it's efficent/competetive aswell. It's a "ranged melee" weapon and it will require some understanding of spacing, kiting and positioning. I think it is strong but not amoung the best of weapons after some nerfs. As a new player i would stay away from spears as a starter weapon, but if you are experienced and want something new, just go for it 👍

I would avoid using reflect, it will make the fight longer and that will benefit curse because of the constant damage. I would instead use cripple/harpoon to prevent kite or impaler for more damage/slow. Make sure to swap to roll (Dodge) on boots active to block the e damage and you should have better odds.

​@@PinguAlbion that is true but nearly always there is 3rd party in mists being on roll will get you killed pretty often

Hello! I use it over other options because i find ambush to be a good ability aswell, it can be swaped to and used situationally in some matchups for mists. I also have to have 120 elite specialization in assassin jacket so it will bring me the most IP for the silver. You can use other artifact jackets that has higher base IP but then you won't be able to swap off inferno shield. TLDR: It's a personal preference, you can use other options aswell.

It's quite good now after the buffs they made to it. The effect is weaker but it got halt the cooldown so it can be used more frequently. Both is fine i think, i have not really used Jacket of tenacity myself but it seems strong.

Yes i could, hunter hood or fiend cowl is probably better options honestly for the helmet slot.

I would recommend just using the gear that you want to eventuelly pvp with later even if it's slightly less efficent. Cloth armor is going to help a lot with clear speed, so that is going to be good for mainly open world PVE for faster clear.

@@PinguAlbion I been using adept spear, torch, mage cowl, mercenary jacket, and plate boots, the cape use thefort so far works pretty good

@@joshuahuff2672 That's fine. I don't like mercenary jacket personally but if you find it good keep using it, also mage cowl received a nerf recently and i would swap it to hunter hood or fiend cowl for PVP, keep at it 👍

I like using assassin jacket, the ambush is good for open world and playing outnumbered, you can take more risks and makes you more slippery in fights. You can also swap to inferno shield for combat stats.
