WOW ! That place was absolutely crazy beautiful. But, the ending was absolutely amazing. Adventure to the max ! Thanks guys. I had made a rule for myself that all water channels had to have sails but you guys have changed that.

Wonderful to see the new boat & it's twin engines. Most sensible engine setup the twin. Had a bit of a "tangle" in the comments when I enquired of another rod & speargun chap from NZ. Regarding his nice new boat with a single engine. Had a similar electric trolling motor as your too. Assured me (& probably himself) that the electric trolling motor was enough to keep him off the rocks. His reply was that he's been running a single engine set up for 25 years, with no incident. If anything happened he stated, he'd call the coastguard & wait to be rescued. I've been boating & fishing wherever & whenever possible for over 30 years now. Have always had either twin mains, or if a single main a capable of getting me home auxiliary with sufficient power. That I used as a trolling engine. Here's hoping he stays safe.

So good to see you two mates back together again!! Wherever you were, that was Amazing, what a section of reef and so alive with everything!! Too bad about the electric trolling motor, shame while the rear engines were running you couldn't shut down the battery bank and remove a charged battery and put the drained battery in it's place. Hook the charged battery to the trolling motor and pick it up and stow it then charge it's battery as you motor along to camp. Or, you could have stayed on the boat, seems to me there's a fair bit of space up in the bow, behind the helm. In any case, glad you got in safe, and heck what's an adventure without some risk, right? Take care, see you next time!! - Dave

Great video. Glad you made it in ok. A lot of pro bass fisherman in the US won't use those trolling motors for that exact reason. They should come up with a way to disengage the auto feature in case that exact scenario occurs.

14:45 Mac Tuna, I have the same Minnkota and had the same issue, pull the silver lever on the trim motor out and you can manually pull up the motor

Loving the new boat. Heads up on the Shark Macky - try smoking it. Best smoked fish I have eaten! Give it a go! Poor sharkys get a bad rap, cut their throats straight onto the ice. Get them on a hot smoker after the marinade - 👌. Golden Trevally over here are also amazing on the tooth. I would have thought of them as a neighbours fish till I had one! Are they any good on the tooth over there? OMG this place you are diving is insane. The Cobia blew my mind! So jealous! I love you shooting fish on Film, I do it a lot, it is great fun! You could have taken the shot but chose not to, but you will always know you made a choice and you can watch it over and over again! In my case with my kids! Loved 9:31 -Hello Entrée! So what is the work around re the motor dropping down if it happens again? That seemed mad! Kudos to the crew who lent you the Stand up Paddle Board. I can see a sponsor ship coming from a blow up dingy crew LOL! Cheers for the fun, Dive safe, Eat Well! 🐟🤿🤙👌

Check into it when you can lads. You can disengage the minkota and stow it by hand. Pain in the butt, though it would have saved a few hours..

Get a little 1.0 Honda generator & have an on board Battery Charger set up! Like a Motorhome has, all you's would of had to do is start the genie & bout 5 minutes could of used the battery!

Ahh, no.. The Belize reef is about 300km long (900 if you include the reef outside Belize waters). The Great Barrier Reef is 2,300km long.
