As a 90’s kid and still as an adult this is my favorite show what guy didn’t wanna be zack and have kelly. This show is still as good today as it was in the 90’s

The one thing that I loved about the original Saved by the bell was that they were always there for each other. Sure they teased each other and Screech tripped on a lot of things, but if someone needed help, they were there. Like when Lisa sprained her ankle, Screech stepped in as her dance partner. When the government wanted to study Screech as an alien he prayed to God and asked if Zack could go with him to Heaven. Lisa asked Screech to the Senior prom and Screech gave up being valedictorian because it meant so much to Jessie. The list goes on and on. It was a good show with characters that were pretty decent people. All of Peter Engal's shows had that! It was really nice!!

When i was a kid would watch carmen san diego after school, then flick over to tbs to watch brady bunch and saved by the bell. Those were the days

In reality zack did come up with alot of schemes over the years some that actually worked. So maybe he is somewhat a genius.

i miss this show use to watch every day before school

Zack was actually more intelligent than the rest he was a genius....he scored a 1502 on his SAT without trying all while the supposed smartest in the school Jesse only scored a 1205 and Screech who later became valedictorian of Bayside didn't even come close...plus the way Zack constantly plans, plots and schemes his way through everything shows his psychological and manipulative mindset

One thing I regret NBC not doing is making a crossover episode with SBTB and FP they could have did something when like it was a basketball game against bayside and bel air prep. And had like both schools in a prank war like they did with valley but instead like will and Carlton kidnap screech which leads to a fight between zach and slater vs will and Carlton and four of them get in trouble and at the end uncle phil and mr. Belding both discipline all the boys and everybody becomes friends. Lol also they should do one scene where zach and slater talking to Kelly and jessie in the hallway and will show up and make peace again and leaves and kelly and jessie run after him all love struck.

I remember this show. I watched the reruns all the time after school. I was only 8 years old when the series ended. I don’t believe that I watched any new episodes but I do remember the college years. The one and only season.😢 Funny I related to saved by the bell because our rivalry school was also named Valley.🤓

This is weird to watch...for ONE thing, it seems rapid fire. Then you have all the text over the screen!

The Prom is the best episode in the whole series!

I’ve watched this show a lot but I’ve never watched the whole series from start to finish. I’m doing that now and then will watch the College Years, the two movies, then the rebooted series that started last year with the original actors.

Why did they have to make Zack a genius and Jesse average with the SAT scores? There is nothing in the series that indicates that Zack would ever get scores like that. On the other hand, Jesse’s grit and hard work makes more sense. Saved By the Bell is a sexist show that is afraid of strong women so they always have to diminish Jesse’s strength or make a joke out of her feminism while always contriving a way for Zack to come out on top and hold Kelly’s compliant femininity as the female ideal. The Wonder Years were better at realistically portraying a teen relationship with. strong female lead and other complex characters.

This show was a huge part of my life. I started a petition for a proper reboot. Not a continuation of the same characters with the same actors but a whole new gang at high school.
