Leslie reminds me of Brooke Taylor-Windham from "Legally Blonde". Both were young fitness instructors who married an older wealthy man (David/Heyworth). While both couples were happy together, both men had a daughter (Jessie/Chutney) who was somewhat close in age to the new wife and had difficulty adjusting. The main difference is that Leslie and Jessie made their peace, but Brooke and Chutney did not, and unfortunately for them, their rivalry escalated to tragedy.

The title is a bit misleading because the aerobics instructor is far from a girl. She is a mature, full grown woman and not in any way appropriate for dating someone Zach's age. Saved by the Bell had a lot of this where the high school students end up dating mature adults and it is in completely inappropriate and actually rather sick.

If you remove the laugh track you would have NO idea what's supposed to be funny. This was such a bad show, although Kelly was the hottest girl on TV so I watched it anyway.
