Yeah someone needs to let them know that a straight up democracy will only be favorable to them if their party constitutes the majority. The protesters seem to be very fond of America (waving our flag and singing our national anthem while they demonstrate), but if they want a government like ours I’m not sure exactly how they would institute a constitutional republic in Hong Kong.

What about the people beating civilians on streets and at the airport, hurting eyes of a policeman, etc.... we hk residents know what really happened.
