Star fruit along with salt is eatable. I like it. But any sour taste is not possible to be eaten beyond a limit which may vary from person to person.

I love watching Indian street food videos. I love the way they prepare the food. It's so unique. The ingredients also. But I'm not sure my stomach can handle it if I have chance to taste it someday. But I really want to go to India someday and taste Indian street food. 😊

This looks like what we call Chow in Trinidad and Tobago. It's made from sour or semi sour/green fruit with lime juice, cilantro, garlic, hot chili peppers/ scotch bonnet peppers with salt and black pepper, the masala is optional. Absolutely a great very spicy snack 😋 👌 😜 BRAVO 👏 🙌 😋 👍

Sorry did not complete earlier. We add in Palm sugar, coarsely ground ground nuts, then young mangoes. Papayas, pineapple, cucumbers, turnips, and a sour fruit too. When you serve we serve it with crushed fried crackers. Lovely. This looks yummy too!

You can get this street food in West Bengal. The yellow bottle is Kasundi also known as mustard sauce. The last fruit used it kaccha bel or wood apple.
