I’ve got a C30. Fully rebuilt all suspension and brakes. I change the oil every 5000 miles and my god, what a car. No issues other than preventative work and servicing. Best car I’ve owned. 4 years and still happy. Stay well my man! ✌️🙏

Hey robert thankyou for all your videos. I have a volvo 850 gle 1994 and every time i need help you are there my man. I need your help with cam cover, engine oil started leaking from cam cover gasket and burns on exhaust manifold. I couldn’t find video to see if i can do it at home or is it hard to do it by myself. I believe it’s just a sealant we use as gasket? What sealant would you prefer thanks

I cannot thank you enough for your videos. Can you offer any insight on replacing the cam cover plug that lies behind the oil filler cap? Is it just a friction fit? Either way, thanks for all you have done

special volvo metal sealant. hard to install. most mechanics that can do it puts it in dry ice, puts the glue on it and has 1 shot to wack it into the cam cover.

Great Video, thanks a lot! Where can I find a replacement Cam Cover gasket? Is it just form-a-gasket? I think my PCV has a blockage and I'm leaking oil out the back of the cam cover (smokes when it hits the exhaust!). I can get the PCV kit and front seals kit (leaking there too), but don't want to start the job (I have all the tools and jig's) until I understand what the cam cover seal is/looks like. Thanks again!

Hello. I have a question regarding the bolts.. Did you only loosen the 10mm bolts to get the cover loose or did you also loosen the weird hex bolts?

He man question, if i look into my haynes manual they want me to lock camshaft and remove the cam gear... but im just doing a headgasket job so is it actually necessary to remove the cam gear or can I leave them on like you did?
