@@AndrewLaReal Nah, I actually rarely watch football nowadays...just something about today's game that doesn't excite me as much. There was a time when a lot of top players would play in their countries, top talent was also more spread out, more competition in Europe, club fan culture was so varied and unique (not talking about violence, that needed to go). Brazilian and Argentine clubs had legendary players. Most of the world's top players play in the same money laden teams today, those clubs that basically wanted to break off and form their own "super league." Even around this time period 2009/10/11, it felt like that's were it was heading. At least I got to see Messi play.

Watching this is tough considering what the team is now. Manchester United used to be a very serious football club. The players were MEN and behaved like top professionals. The current players comparatively seem like boys; little spoilt kids with lots of money and online influence, who feel like they can do whatever they want. It's honestly so embarrassing that the modern day Manchester United players seemingly have no clue of the pedigree of this sporting institution, and what it means to represent it.
