Very Good advice by Erik, helpful for those whose are looking to switch or start career in RPA. @Anders thanks for posting this and yes we need more vdo's on Document Understanding and other advance stuff added by UiPath.

I specialize in automating Microsoft Excel. Is that considered an RPA technology?

Short answer no, but if you deploy your code (vba) by robots to solve it (over and over) it is. With that said, automating Excel is in HIGH demand, and a lot of my job is about that (probably not entirely as good as you). Kind regards, Anders
