Chisel is still my favorite bike of all, slim tubes looking sick, very light, with modern standards it can keep up with new stuff, cool bike.

It rides nice, with a few upgrades you’d be almost with the top bikes.

Have a chisel 22 model, forget more expensive bikes, she climbs so well , great doing off road sportives on xc type routes, trails and unsurfaced roads.

I’d pick a Nukeproof Scout or Ragley Marley over the Chisel, if you could find one, but it’s a good bike with a few upgrades. I’ll have to make a comparison between them.

Bought one in 2018. Great all purpose bike at a reasonable price. That year had a 27.2 seatpost so dropper choice was very limited. Ended up with PNW thats been awesome.

It is a decent bike. But I think there are some better options around that 1k price point. Droppers are the best! 😎

@ArcticFrost Specialized tends to be pricey but you get a fairly well thought out bike. The Trek Roscoe looks good too but again maybe not the best bang for buck.

Coming from riding my Nukeproof Scout or Ragley Marley it’s a great entry level bike. Definitely above Trek with some decent components.

Dude its such a nice bike, brakes are amazing. Only ever possible upgrades are like first a dropper and then maYbee GX transmission. But besides thise aspriations that bike is to be so enjoyed with utterly no limits

Thanks man! It is a nice bike, just add a dropper and pedals and it’ll shred! I would’ve liked to have a bit more travel with the fork but it’s decent.

Passed up on it the geometry is not quite slack enough to be true down country needs an update since it was first introduced.

Yeah, I prefer the 64.5° on my Nukeproof Scout to this 68° Chisel.

68 is a pretty good geo for XC, 64.5 is DH teritory.

The geo is fine for what it's designed for. If they update it, they should do it around 120mm fork and 2.4 tires. Also, Specialized is charging way too much for what it is. I got a '21 back when they were $1500, which was reasonable.
