Speckled Trout On a Soft Dine XL

4 ай бұрынDoc and I came out to some oyster reefs just before a front moved in on us targeting some speckled trout. These fish have been holding on this spot for the last few trips on this small oyster reef with a muddy bottom. This trip I stuck with a Soft Dine XL in Pure Silver hoping to catch some bigger trout. Come along as we get into some nice fish just before the front rolls in on us. Hope you enjoy!

Hey brotha so it's a custom rod made by my buddy Jason Hodge and his info is in my description in the videos. So it's a RAINSHADOW IMMORTAL blank Med. Power, Mod-Fast 7’0” 8-14lb. 1/4-5/8oz. (Silver) and I have it paired with a Shimano Tranx 150HGA 7.2 It's been a really good setup for me and a really lite setup.

No sir I’ve been using Yo-Zuri H.D. CARBON 20lb Fluorocarbon. It’s been good to me so far, but I’ve been thinking about trying out mono one day just to see if there is any difference.

@joemills4716 oh ok I misunderstood your question. I use braid and tie on a fluorocarbon leader line to my jig head.
