Spectacular! I've never seen a helicopter taxi down a runway before. I thought they all just rise from a stationary position. Can't wait to see the actual resort.

Taking off like that requires much less from the engine. Vertical takeoffs are very demanding and not nearly as safe.

Helicopter ride is always more enjoyable than an airplane, a true nature fragrance and a wide view from cockpit . I will never forget that green and blue with aqua combinations. Thanks Sir for sharing these awesome videos. We don't have the idea how beautiful our own world is. Take my respects from India.

Just catching up on your trip reports as I have been travelling for a few weeks. I turned 67 flying on a Qatar a350 from Singapore to the UK via Doha on 16th Dec. The flight attendants brought out a cake and glass of champagne at midnight and I thought it was the best flight ever as I got to celebrate my birthday for 32 hours because of the time difference. I would trade that flight in an instant to take this helicopter ride. I would say it's on a par with your seaplane transfer in the Maldives.
