The title says it all really. An absolutely spectacular approach & landing into the beautiful Greek Island of Skiathos onboard the incredible Boeing 757 operated by TUI Airways. Filmed in their final 2 weeks of passenger service. The 757's for TUI Airways will sadly be withdrawn from service from October 3rd 2021.

Arriving on Skiathos' RWY01. The airport is notorious for its very short runway and therefore extremely low landings. Now what makes this video rather spectacular is the "Short Field" landing techniques displayed. Its pretty standard at Skiathos that any jet passenger aircraft, particularly a 757 which is Skiathos' largest regular visitor, will by pass the apron and terminal during landing and will need to turn around and backtrack. Well not today. Absolutely slamming the brakes on with full reverse thrust we made the exit... just! Not even using the full runway length. Something I've never witnessed from a large passenger jet at Skiathos in several years of visiting and certainly not from onboard!
