My son suffers from a speech delay too so I can imagine how proud you feel about his confidence. I do feel guilt from time to time too. Thanks!

Our little boy completely quit talking and had to regain speech. His was directly related to ear issues. He had a year of speech before they found out it was because of ear issues. After he had ear surgery he started talking. He just had horrible fluid build up that couldn’t be seen from the outside. He does have a speech impediment still but it’s one he will likely grow out of. I’m so glad he’s improving! ❤️

That’s good to hear they finally figured out what was going on with your son! I’m surprised they didn’t find that out before. Here, my son had to go for a hearing test before a speech therapist would even see him.

One of my kids did speech therapy for awhile and had so much fun with it! (And is now a very understandable 14 yr old!) 😁

My brother went through years of speech therapy for years due to him being deaf. My mother worked with him for years and he went to a special school for oral deaf kids. So glad your son is doing good in speech.

That is great news that he is gaining confidence. It’s amazing how much the way we speak can influence how we feel about ourselves.

My youngest still does speech therapy 2x per week. It used to be 4x per week. It has helped her so much.

It's easy to feel guilt about a developmental delay as a mom but a good thing to remind ourselves is that we are being a great mom for making sure our child gets the proper help and support they need to thrive. (I mean I tell myself that but I still feel the negative feelings too sometimes. Haha oh well. It's a process!)

It's good that you like editing your videos. I prefer to delegate the editing to my son if possible, because we are using a more complicated editing software, and everything is tedious. This cuts down on the amount of videos I can put out as well, since I want the videos to be high quality. But subscribers are happy with whatever you are able to put up. :)

Yes editing can be tedious sometimes! It’s crazy how one 10-15 min video can take hours and hours to edit.
