I was on the New Jersey public transit once when it locked the brakes at 64 KPH. Everything in the back of the bus slid to the front of the bus. If the bus in the movie was to make the bridge jump, everybody inside would have turn into pudding.

Keanu and Sandra were in another film together from 2006 called "The Lake House." Another hilarious classic with Keanu is 1989's "Parenthood." Also stars Steve Martin, Rick Moranis, and an outstanding cast.

"The Lake House" is a remake of a Korean movie named "Il Mare" from back in 2000 starring Lee Jung-jae, who played the main character in 'Squid Game (2021)' .

So far I haven't seen anyone saluting the deceased tow truck driver pulling the blown up airplane. And from everything I learned about aviation so far, there must also be someone in the towed aircrafts cockpit for safety reasons. These poor, at least 2 souls 🙏 ;)

I don’t normally care at all about Hollywood romance, but it is sad-cute that Keanu and Sandra had so much chemistry AND admitted to crushing on each other later, but never got together because of apparently just mostly shyness and trying to stay professional. They would have been wholesome happy couple it seems.

26:48 No, you're right. Without a massive ramp, that bus isn't making it across that gap. In real life, the bus will start falling as soon as it loses support and the the _best_ case scenario is that it smashes face-first into the unfinished section, stopping all forward movement before plummeting into the gap. But, of course, this isn't real life. It's an action movie!

I love this movie it's so good lol Dennis Hopper is incredible lol 14:05 that glass breaking wasn't planned it just happened and they left it in lol 20:33 don't feel bad that gets everybody lol 21:34 they actually tested that on Mythbusters and it did work lol 26:30 they actually made a bus that did jump so it's as practical as possible lol 35:37 one of the biggest explosions ever lol

"The Devil's Advocate" - is an excellent movie with Reeves, Al Pacino and Charlize Theron. Highly reccommend as well as Moccachino with one sugar stick.

7:08 The lady saying, "My shoe!" Always cracks me up. Even more so when you realize that she is holding it in her hand. My guess is that either she thought of it wanting to get another line in, or the director thought it would be a funny gag, but they just forgot to have her actually throw the shoe off camera before they started the scene.

I drink Nescafe. Mark Mancina's music score for Speed 2: Cruise Control(1997) was really good. The sequel was a "beached whale".

The watch in question was a wristwatch. The cheesey referencenwasn that it might be a retirement watch. I always laugh around 19 05 when Annie has to take the off ramp and plows into a bunch of Pintos!

Parenthood is a great ensemble cast with Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen, several more but Keanu is in there group in a pretty good role. It was before this film came out.

That bridge part with the gap always makes me laugh, everyone always says there's no way they can make that jump and they are very likely right even with the incline, the gap is just too big to make at just 70mph that I'm surprised they put that in the movie, maybe they should have had the gap in the bridge a but smaller to make it more believable, but seriously, how many people have you heard that have said that jump can be made? Ok I know it's a movie and braking the laws of physics is the norm but still lol.

Cuban Expresso is my favorite followed by a cafe con leches ( coffee with milk). When I was a kid I had to have my cafe con leche every night before I went to bed.

Great movie. I heard that at the time of the movie Keanu lost his friend River Phonix and this movie help him deal with the grief. You should watch Other Keanu great old movies like Point Break , Constantine , The Devil Advocate and Chain Reaction. Also there is a great underrated teen comedy with him called The Night Before.

One of THE great action thrillers. So good. Was a huge boxoffice hit in summer 1994 and made Keanu an even bigger movie star plus made Sandra Bullock a movie star too.

I remember reading that in an original draft of the movie Harry was the one that put the bomb on the bus. He was forced to retire from being a police officer after the incident with the elevator bomber, because of the injuries he sustained. Namely being shot in the leg by Jack. The elevator bomber died at the beginning. After the forced retirement Harry's life fell apart and he blamed Jack for it. It was only after they cast Jeff Daniels as Harry that they change the script, because it was felt that Jeff Daniels was "too likeable" and therefore the audience wouldn't like him as the villain.
