It’s not water, its condensation and is fairly normal - lights get warm and have vents to cool em off, in heavy rain like we’re facing in Pune, some amount of vapour can enter the light - it evaporates on its own

@@carswithkaran vents? Are indicator vents standard in all bikes or only in few? Never remember seeing them.

@@surajtomar4870 they’re not standard - but some bikes and cars will have some sort of a vent or a gap to extract hot air - could be very subtle in this case - it COULD also be a gap in the seal, but i’m saying it is common to see condensation in lights during heavy rain

okay so a good QS system should be seamless - smoother than a manual shift, because you’re usually going to be using it when riding fast and in those situations you can’t afford a bad shift (esp when cornering) the Duke’s QS rarely does those seamless shifts and there are times the bike is unsettled because of the QS - both at low and high RPMs also on my bike there have been plenty of occasions where it goes back down a gear after quick-shift (ex: will go to 4th momentarily and then fall back to 3rd) which is scary

@@carswithkaran Thanks. As for my bike, it does a pretty good job in higher revs, atleast that's what i have felt. In lower revs there is unsettling or bit clunky shifts. Never faced any glitch while shifting yet.

The sole reason why triumph can't be associated with the chapri tag is it's appeal. KTMs come with sharp cuts (chapri favourite) and triumph on the other hand is a classic blunt head of explosive joy, not a trait of the Chapris.

I was worried about the same, but with duke, there's nothing to worry about, parts are cheap and easily available, service also cheap and there are plenty of service centres. My take on this is, if you want the triumph and also want to make sure your ownership experience will be good, then wait a year to get long term reviews.

Like the video says test ride, ktm offers better digital console, power and breaks but have to do a lot of gear shifting in the city traffic on the other hand triumph is better city bike with more easy to ride in city traffic and definitely a better finish, looks are subjective!!

We indians think more about value for money than anything else 😃 that's why these comparisons exist.

Two very different genres but this was the ask and we gladly said yes :)

Firstly, they are different segments altogether. You can make the 650 run all day at 130+kmph without any niggles or putting stress on the engine and it will be happy to do so. Speed 400/Duke 390 are high-revving engines and they will get stressed out with a lot of engine wear and tear resulting in frequent maintenance/servicing in the long run. But when it comes to handling or agility at high speed, I can bet on Duke 390 compared to others. If you are a nimble rider, go with Speed 400; which has been refined to 80kmph and will put a smile on your face each time, on the other side; if you need the sheer pleasure(power+refinement) of the engine for the highway runs, I bet you not to look back other than 650. I hope this helps you. (I own both KTM390 and INT650.)

The price difference is why we want to stay away.

@@abhinavmehrotra you can say that. Single cylinder has many drawbacks when comes to refinement.. you can get most tork out of it, but top end power goes for a toss. Ktm somehow manages the top end so good, but bottom end is really gutless

@@powerdriftofficialprice point is different when bought new, used 650s can be had in a similar price range. Plus the 400 is many kilos lighter and is only 7hp down from the RE, but both have similar acceleration figures. I think a comparison is warranted to explore this topic further
