I’ve been waiting for CPG to do this one. This was probably the toughest mission, IMO. Everything has to work perfectly.

If you highlight over a trooper, you'll see their field of view. That way you can tell (or make a better guess) as to whether or not a trooper can see an enemy. Also at the beginning I saw your guys weren't fully in position and you had someone out of position throwing that flashbang, that's why your northern flashbang didn't go out on time. Love the content, thanks for introducing me to this game.

I randomly saw your videos on my feed. Watched a few and bought the game. It's a nice game, though unforgiving

It would be fun to see even vanilla maps, but with some reasonable number of own troops (3:1 principle). You can open vanilla missions in the editor and just get some more operators and spawn points. Of course, it would be a little less challenging, but I think it will be still really fun to watch missions like "King of the Slums" conducted with two whole squads - or "Uninvited Guests" with a squad. And there will be more room to discuss some real TTPs.

I still wonder how we can start in the closet in the SE of the map. Were they hiding there before the bad guys occupied the place, or what?

DK game mechanics mode, wall charge the executioner in the office from exterior. This would only give hostage concussion.

I would love to know how many men you'd take realistically on each mission

The guys in the office adjacent to the hall your assaulter's start in immediately trigger the start of their execution sequences as soon as I'm detected. It's literally impossible to get an assaulter to them in time.

I just destroyed all the walls in this game and created a whole new definition of dynamic entry 😂

This mission was nearly impossible. Even if you have an excellent strategy the conditions can change in between attempts. The location of certain hostages and enemies can change, the behavior of some enemies change, and it's so inconsistent that you end up with the perfect plan that still needs to be attempted a few times just to get it to work. Ultimately it took me a dozen attempts to succeed at this one, and it required a massive amount of micromanagement on my part. Sending people in and redirecting them every half second by constantly pausing to make sure they were always looking in the most optimal directions. I switched everyone to MP5s just to ensure they'd engage faster and pump targets full of holes without any hesitation between shots, just so they could move to another target faster.

Amazing stuff. One question, can we share RNG maps? If so, this is an immediate purchase for me.

This is the only mission I can’t even get a 1 star on- let alone a three star :/ I don’t understand how I’m suppose to be fast enough to get inside the smaller rooms without a wall breach charge.

Honestly, fuck this level. It was a pain in the ass to beat because of all the executioners, and unfortunately, my playstyle is really slow, so it is annoying to have to play the level super fast, especially when I can't easily process everything that is going on at once. In my opinion, the three worst types of levels are ones with bombs, ones with hostages + a lot of executioners, and levels with civilians that are lingering by the enemy. Why my guys shoot a stationary civilian while trying to shoot a stationary insurgent is beyond me.

Good game, but this map is just way too much rng. That last hostage you saved use to be dead within 3 seconds for me, so I have no idea of how to solve this. But at least it is the only map that seems impossible to solve consistently.

The direction the devs took is the reducto ad absurdum approach. They need to get off this retarded shit and remember that they’re not Hotline fucking Miami (which is awesome for other reasons). We all love the original because it was more or less realistic. This is, again, reduced to the absurd. It’s neither fun, nor realistic. It’s just tedious.

looking at this now im not sure how i beat it first try, i put all my guys on the 2 doors on the left and ran in instantly why my sniper shot anyone on the right. i think you were really sloppy on the first try tbh and just a tad too slow but it was a really go try
