Isnt this one of the most badass looking maps here, 2 soldiers and one informant steps in the nick of time taking on multiple shoulder fired weapons and multiple veteran insurgents to stop an execution ON A BRIDGE

Frag grenades open doors in DK2, so in a pinch they can work as improvised slap charges for scary bathrooms.

cpg: completes the mission in 5 trys. me: 25 different trys, never succeeded. ouch.

Finally, get to watch you do this map. It is quite literally the Dark Souls of maps in this game.

This is by far the hardest one so far. Took me several attempts and ended up with sneaking up on the closest ones, then fragging long while killing the closest.

Yay, been wanting to see your take on this mission. This was difficult for me to pull off and took several tries to get right.

That situation is insanely hard. Some remarks: - It seems like the underslung grenadelaucher has a much slower or no explosion delay. Propably uses a impact fuse combined with the much faster launcher vs arm speed So if you want to sync it with a handheld, you have to throw the handheld first, then fire the launchers on a go code - While the Flashbang are primarily there to not kill hostages, it does seem to have bigger radius. So it can be used on dispersed groups, giving you the next best thing to kill - 5 seconds disable.

I had to restart this map sooo many times until I had no casualties. Excellent video!

Oh, spicy indeed. I wanted to wait watching your video so I could try it blind myself. Got it on the third try, because the second run got messed up due to not starting silent by accident. I went for a DMR and a grenadier and suppressed secondaries. It worked well to get the guys on the other end with the long gun.

Great job. Vantage point is also super challenging.

This mission is definitely one of the hardest, it took me a long time to beat it with my buddy in co-op, but eventually we beat it using 1 plan drawn before we started with no pausing after start. The trick was to use the suppressed assault weapon. With that you can pick off some of the initial guys as you approach without aggro-ing the rest, and then grenade / bang the rest of them before making a more dedicated assault.

I just revisited this one. If you give everyone suppressed pistols and move carefully, you can clean out your side of the bridge without alerting anyone which makes things easier. Take hollowpoints to make them quieter and smokes to stop the mad rush on the other side once you go loud.

The bathroom trauma is real. 😂Why do those bloody guys always hide in bathrooms in this game? Kudos for facing you "fears" though.👏And great video, both from an entertainment and a technical standpoint.

THIS is the one I was waiting for. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO BEAT IT.

When I did this I had them all hold fire, get into an advantageous position and throw some handhelds before engaging. I threw 2 frags and a banger simultaneously, one frag in the fortified position across the river, one at the trio at the end of the bridge, and the banger by the hostage on the bridge. Once all of the handhelds detonated they went loud, making very quick work of the near threats. Then I smoked the end of the bridge and secured the first hostage, then bounded down the bridge. I threw another banger in the window as my guys crossed and cleared that room from outside, leaving one assaulter at the window watching the hostage in there. Then had Fergie watch the main door, while my other assaulted cleared the outside of the structure. That’s when my run ended as the last hostile was behind the building, so I didn’t have to clear the structure. It all ended with no injuries to my team as well which is always preferred. I will say that I’ve been playing doorkickers 2 since launch, and doorkickers 1 for years before that, so I understand the mechanics pretty well. Also using the right weapons and attachments makes a big difference in DK2, I run the MK 17 CQB with the 1-8x LPVO (which makes the gunplay much more consistent).

This is for sure one of the hardest maps along with fire sale in extreme rescues 2. Related to this you should try the map bridge assault in all the way- another bridge themed fun

You can use grenades to safely open doors from a distance.. including that bathroom door (it won't kill the people inside, just blow the door open)

Tackled this map very differently from yours. I never seem to have a use for grenadiers since the range of grenades are ridiculously long. Went in with a M240 and a M14, with the M240 south, M14 north and covert operative by the pickup's opened door. Had them on silent and opened up the firefight with frag on the mg nest, frag on the group and eastern end of bridge and a flash on the hostage pos. The engagement went smoothly although it took me quite a few times to have the Mk14 snipe off the other executioner

This map has so many gotchas in it. I gave up on it so many times before finally getting through it. The pain is real.

This is public awareness campaign if you hold ctrl + left button soldier will move while holding the angle not the aiming spot (a civilian trying to explain combat manouvers)

Curious if you'd consider diving into a theory video about ways to make DK2 more "realistic". For me at least, I'd really love if DK2 eventually got a "hardcore" mode where you do have to account for things like backblast from wall charges, or suppressors not being Hollywood Quiet. Obviously the most "realistic" option in most of these cases is typically dropping a bomb, but within the constraints of needing to send boots through the door I'd like to hear your thoughts on making the game more mechanically rewarding of real-world tactical doctrine over the "puzzle game" aspect. ...or put more simply I suppose: Which parts of DK2 are realistic, which parts aren't, and which would you like to see changed?

I think this took me a few tries but i dont remember it being overtly difficult... but then i totally never thought about a stealth option, it was a case of just knowing how many enemy forces there were for 2 guys + Fergie had to deal with.

I nailed that one pretty quick but I started off my plan loud with a couple of shoulder fires on assaulters.

I dunno about anybody else but I kinda liked the old, longer videos that weren't just glimpses of failed attempts with just the final one complete and then the replay at the end. I enjoyed watching you think the plan through at the beginning and modifying it in case of failure. They're still really good and the editing has clearly improved since the beginning don't get me wrong

Forgive me but are there any mods running or preference changes as the game seems to work a littles different to mine. Specifically the pizza slicing

My strats: Weapons tight and simul bang short execution group, frag far enemies then, waste near tangos. Then waste enemy across bridge that remains from frag or squirts from building, external clear building, eyes on hostage. One man clear, then shift outside man to clear behind building.

Bro gotta say I watched one of you’re videos then bought this game cause I loved the way it played and the strategy to it. But man I fully rushed this map, if I could send you my clip of it I’d love to know you’re opinion on how i did 🤘🏽

I actually surprisingly finished this in 3rd attempt, having a sniper at top, assaulter at bottom. I have Fergie run for cover on the front, have the sniper throw frag at the rocketman then swing to his left taking out everyone on the left side, my assaulter throw flash near and have him run to the open door for a little bit of cover and they basically took out everyone in there in like 5 seconds. Got the hostage run to the exit, game is not over and that only means one thing, there's other hostage/s and hostiles. I actually did one man clear on that building because I don't trust Fergie to watch over outside but I also don't want him killed.

I ordered my guys (marksman and 240 gunner) to run behind the car they came in, while Fergie initiated with some flashbangs. Fergie got smoked by a rocket, but the marksman/support pair killed everything outside of the last building at range. Clearing that building killed the support, but I *did* win.

This level was so easy for me i just spammed frag grenades at the beggining with one flash on the hostage and then bum rushed the last building with all angles. First time i got angry enough to actually use frags for the first time haha

Every time I try this mission, and I've tried 30+ times, I get slaughtered immediately.

Well I thought it was easy, at least after finding out Fergie has silenced side arm. Going silent makes it so much easier, tho maybe not realistic.

how do you change the color of your unit's circles? All mine are white, and it gets easy to mix up.

My tactic was to use a silenced pistol and melee to clear the entire left side, swap to gl primary and bomb points of interest, while an assaulter smokes and pushes bridge to clear the second hostage

One of the hardest maps I have played yet. Other being the hostage in the middle of the court yard covered by guns. Wait till you get to the really big one, I did it by accident in the random map gen. It’s a full on clear of a village and let me tell you...stressful. Bring your big guns.

Can't wait for you to attempt Kamil Pasha Market(Indian Country) later. Need a lot of luck and maybe attempts to beat that one.

it took a couple of attempts to figure out but then it feel easy.. i used a smoke grenade to block vision of the heavy MG.. rest i dropped grenade at the 3 guys on the far of the bridge.. and 1 flash bang near the close hostage... if the grenade at the 3 guys on the bridge works, its all good.. then just grenade the heavy MG people :D

Hi, I did this map not realising how difficult people think it is. Here's how I did it: turn on the silent mode, both assaulters with silenced pistols approach targets from behind, killking 4-5 enemies, then switch to rifles. Flashbangs and frag granades into groups of enemies. Then it's very easy. I guess it never occured to you since I don't think assassinations with a silenced pistol from behind, 3 meters from another enemy are realistic.

I wonder how different this is with the CIA mechanics. Seems you can behind the hmg position before starting the action maybe?

This level was so hard that it made me genuinely rage quit, and I don’t usually rage quit lmao

My tactic for this level relied heavily on rocket launchers and the element of surprise.

I play this mission back then and I failed many times because of my squad and the hostages are dead. Even when I try to sneak behind them and then ambushing them from behind.

Lol the playthrough I did for this should not have worked. I used 2 marksmen and right at the start, I had them go hide behind that first yellow car you spawn on while maintaining stealth. Then I had them all throw grenades and flashbangs on a few of the groups of enemies. I couldn't get any handhelds on the guy with the RPG because in my previous attempts there was this one veteran insurgent that would just throw a nade on top of us before we could do anything so I had to prioritize him. By some miracle, when the guy shot the RPG it just hit the front of the car I had them all hiding behind and they weren't even stunned. I somehow went on to get a perfect clear of the mission with all hostages rescued and in total only took me 4 or so attempts. Sometimes luck just takes the wheel in this game.

The tell-tale sign she is not undercover is the fact she has her gun out... the undercover mechanic has weapons hidden. And one of the challenges is to complete it undetected *LOL*

I used the militia on this one. You may not believe it. But one extra guy makes all the difference. And not like they need to aim to hit someone in this clusterfuck.
