Great job. For the basic rank and file, and especially in a horde army, what really stands out is when you have them all painted and on a table/setting/display. The individual detail of each is less important. Just sticking them down painted looks great!

Thanks very much! Yes I completely agree, from a few feet away on a table during a game they’ll look the part. Much better to just have them done to a decent standard than sitting unpainted in a box forever. Thanks for watching

These look great. I've held off on my 1K's of points of grey, over several systems, until getting an airbrush; I've seen too many great videos using them, to not want to. However, I was starting to get the impression that, besides a zenithal, they're generally for use with larger models - this was the first vid I've found using them on the swarm, so very useful!

Thanks very much! Glad to hear it was useful. An airbrush is a great tool for getting loads done quickly, highly recommended. Thanks for watching

They came out really good, i like the scheme. The little pops of colour really makes them stand out.

Thank you. I’m pretty happy with the results

I've got to try this, albeit adapted slightly for a grimdark leviathan look. Got to make a start on the pile!

I feel like, at least for the black base coat it probably would've taken far less time to just paint the black on with the brush rather than the initial airbrush portion. Just a way you might save time.

Yes potentially, but I wanted to keep them consistent with the rest of the army. It’s not mentioned here but I purposely have a tiny bit of overspray of the black onto the skin, it’s subtle but helps to blend it all together and adds some texture to the fleshy bits. Thanks for watching!

Just curious. What’s the trick your doing to hold your sponge?
@rgbminiaturesАй бұрын
It’s a little bit of sponge stuck inside the end of a brush protector!
