The belt should be replaced prior to installing spring if your intention is to replace both anyway. This avoids fighting the tension when reinstalling the belt.

after i did this it would spill over the yop and then stop reading oload e tp, ive checked the pumps and hoses no clogging i can tell

I have this same model , it stopped draining after doing a load of socks . Is there anyway to see if I have a clogged drain ?

I have this Speed Queen model. The spin cycle will not engage. Makes a hum noise. Lid assembly is working and drain pump turns freely with no clogging in drain pipe. Agitation works fine. Belt is in good shape. What else could be causing the spin cycle to not engage and just hum when that cycle hits?

My washer has buttons to push.I got it less than an year ago. When the cycle is over it's blinking wash/rinse,the clothes are still too wet but the water is gone

On a different manufacturer and model, fresh water is supplied to rinse out the bleach and softener dispensers. I had that fresh water leaking from the bleach cup because the drain holes at the bottom of the cup were clogged with pet hair.
