Great great video! I use the same pinky finger method. And the nitrile idea is awesome for squats. I definitely need this on my Felony speed run build which I'm too going to share with people. And that's my Favorite Arrma road car. I'm making sure I download and share these videos. This helps the hobby and people can see afrly enjoy there speed car.👍🏽💯

I can think of possibly another way of getting some anti-squat into your setup/chassis, but I think your way is more simple. Nice work.

Big up to you sir for another brilliant video. I think that what you tell us about set up can be used on all types of cars and buggys. Here's a question that will get you thinking. On these speed cars why aren't the nuts threaded with a left hand thread on the right side of the car ? If it was a left hand thread it would never be a problem of coming loose it would be self tightening , right hand threads on the left hand side tighten automatically.

Appreciate the awesome content as always. Just wanted to point out that flopack was bashing you once again as he always does in his live upload last night. Talking smack about those who use gyros and also called your perfect pass the purple pass. He completely goes against a lot of the stuff you say and you really need to stop giving him any credit for anything. He is a clown and is not well liked for good reason. I called him out in his live stream while everyone else was kissing his ass. Seriously he is not you’re friend when he is constantly talking shit behind your back. 👍

Its good using something to limit rear shocks. I'm surprised you didnt on other builds. Was the same with your carbon shell car. You.lifted the front as shell was dragging under running orbreaking but inevitable happened with the flip. Use the same on the front but not as aggressive

Also the white J rims are the hardest plastic and hold up to the speed better. The black rims are a lot more flexible and like to explode due to the flex under load.

Is the squat a function of the acceleration or from the wing down force? Probably a combination of both. I wonder if connecting the wing directly with the control arm would help? Of course that would have to be figured out.

Neat trick with the tubing on the shocks! I have two questions though: 1. What is nitro tubing? I need to know what I’m looking for down in Romania, and I am not sure my lhs will know the term😀! Do you mean the fuel line tubing on nitro cars? 2. Is that level of stiffness on the back shocks not achievable with harder springs? Thanks! 🙏
@rcbustanut2057
@rcbustanut2057 3 жыл бұрын
Yup, that's what it is, fuel line for nitro rc cars. And yes, you could potentially find stiffer springs that would do the trick & the preferred way to do this. But the nitro tubing is a cheap, quick and easy way to do it. I used Tekno springs, Orange, on my Arrma Typhon 6S to stiffen up the suspension because the stock springs were too soft. I need to see if I can get similar ones for the Limitless now.

Toe out in the front I know will help with cornering in a buggy (I’m limitless-ing my Talion) and an actual passenger car is just ever so slightly toed in….. So should there be a tiny degree of toe-in???
