Watch the top ten ranked shearers in the country including world champion and Golden Shears holder Rowland Smith and icon of the sport David Fagan compete for the inaugural national speed shear title. They battle on stage against the clock with the fastest completing the job in less than 20 seconds!

It seems odd if it is only the time and not also quality. Missed bits and skin-cuts should give reductions.

It does look like they're hurting the sheep a little bit because of how fast they're shearing them, you can tell by how the sheep are squirming.

So I just watched a video of the Guinness World Record time for shearing one sheep…37secs… and now I just saw this guy to it in 25secs…am I missing something? Haha

Nah mate the world record will be different. In speed shearing the bellys of the sheep ahve already been taken off and so has the wool from the head but in the world record none of that would have been taken off
