Don’t Know why the ninja V is a thing. I did buy 1 and I send it back after a month of testing. 1st I’m using Sony cameras a7s3 and a1. Firmware was up to date on my cameras and on my Ninja. My biggest problem was with LTUs, the gamma offset on my Sony was fine but that is a terrible screen to look at it and that’s why a bought the ninja V in the 1st place, coz of the bigger screen and coz I can use LUTs . Every LUT I used, shadows on my ninja where to dark like no detail but on my Sony screen was fine , so terrible to use in a dark situation. After I applied the LUT in post was fine as well so in conclusion the ninja v was showing me the LUT incorrectly. I used in good lighting situations as well, same problem but this time in the highlights and not in the shadows , this defeats the in entire purpose of using LUTs . I used PQ , that is the closest I gut to set my exposure correctly but not like Atmos is showing us in a promo video to expose +1.7 but just exposing between 0.0 and max +0.7. The problem with that is that I would be happy to see some colors with my LUTs and not just the log profile that PQ is showing me. Anyone have the same problem ? I just want to see what I get if I’m using my LUT that’s it. I can provide fotos to better explain the situation.
