My SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning (For Yamaha PW-X3) didn't come in this fancy box but in a plastic bag not really well secured, but it works. It came from Bulgaria to the UK in one day. Did you have to cut down production costs or did I get a fake/copy unit?

Hi. Both are original. If you ordered from our e-shop speedbox-tuning.com directly as an end user, you would automatically receive a box. Our distributors can choose a box or a bag (due to lower shipping costs). If you ordered from a distributor, he could send you a bag. The question is whether he mentioned it on his e-shop.

Loved the video. Learned a lot of course. Perfectly made. But just think ... wouldn't it just be easier if Bosch didn't lock the damn motor in the first place? Geeeeeeez!!!!

Legislation. The speed limit in germany for pedelecs is much lower than in most countries because it is just a number some old man made up. The manufacturers are of course very concerned about illegal tuning for a simple reason: if the number of accidents due to too high assisted speeds rises, the status of the pedelec being treated equally as a bicycle would possibly be rescinded. If that happened the sales would plummet and of course nobody wants that. Only solution I see is updated legislation. The capabilities of companies like Speedbox could all well be used in the existing manufacturing of drivetrains.

At €185 the speedbox is expensive, but the quality is good and it works excellent on my E7000 motor.

I just got my speed box from Bulgaria but it didn’t come in a box it just came in a plastic wrapper with instructions

Hello. It's alright. Our distributors often order SpeedBox in a bag due to shipping costs. We have official distributors in Bulgaria, so your SpeedBox is definitely original 🙂Thanks for understanding.

Thanx God we've got a compony like this. The old wankers in EU set limit 25km/h which is kind of OK on bicycle paths in towns but when you want to go outside town you are so much limited that it doesn't make sense buying a branded E-bike..It' s like limit Lamborghini or Ferrari to 50km/h because of speed limits in towns It's f... sick.
