It's time for a very anticipated shoe review and today we are reviewing the HOKA ONE ONE SPEEDGOAT 4.
The Speedgoat trail shoes have been shoes that I have spent a lot of time in, covered lots of miles in and enjoyed very much. The latest version of the shoe has undergone some pretty big changes and I really do have my fingers crossed hoping that the Speedgoat 4 feels as great as the Speedgoat 3. I bought a pair of 3s from you in December. Amazing shoes for mileage, not a mark on them at 400 or so miles. Love them.

An excellent review. You helped me big time on deciding to go for the SG 3 despite the extra cushioning factor of the 4 (Having 2 screws in one knee)

Great review as always Loyd 👍🏼. I’ve done nearly 500km in my SG3s and probably going to pick up the EVO instead of the SG4, just based on reviews of fit. Love the bright Orange colour though 😁

Great review! I just bought the Speedgoat 4 about a week ago. Until now i wasn't able to really test them yet, as i don't have many trails here (i bought them for a vacation to Madeira in a few weeks, but i will of course run them in first). When fitting them in the store, i also needed to get them one size bigger than for instance the Hoka Rincons that i use (and love) for road running. I love the orange color model, however eventually went for the grey model..

Great review. I have a narrow foot also, but I feel and love the added stability of the SG4. Before on the more technical stuff I had to use the Sense Ride 3. Now I do everything with the SG4. I also use the GTX version for snow running during the winter (since I live in Switzerland).

Thanks for the review. I considered SG 3 and 4 and went for SG3 because of your review and also other reviews that felt SG3 was slightly better. Same price for SG3 and 4 in Sweden though.

Excellent review. Thanks. The SG3 was simply too narrow for me, but this version might just do it. I believe that there is an extra wide SG4 out at the end of December.

I went for torrent in the end, lighter and so far loving them. Speedgoats still on he list though so may give them a shot when my Peregrines ISO's are done. Great review.

Just ordered my new goats. Have run in the 3 and the Evo. So excited to try the 4. There are things I liked about each of the previous versions I ran in. Hoping this will be the perfect balance.

Great review. I really enjoyed the Speedgoat 3, the only let down for me was the grip on off camber grass and mud. It was lethal. Everything else was great. So hope the new tread profile sorts this problem for me.

I have the Speedgoat 3 despite problems with the Speedgoat 2, back in November I bought a new pair of Speedgoat 3 because I was so impressed with them and judging by the 2s thought I didn’t have long until I killed them but bloody hell 6 months later they are only now showing signs of deterioration after 1000miles they split on the instep so I gorilla glued them and they are still going and the New Speedgoat 3s I bought are still in the box 😲 maybe I should think about breaking them in - don’t want the 4 now, but can’t get anymore 3s to stock up on 😩 great review man

Thank you for the detailed review, Loyd! The concept of running for adventure fits pretty much to my own concept of running, thanks for the content! I have a narrow foot as well and I found your comment about Speedgoat 3 being slightly narrower quite useful for me. I'm a fan of Hoka (and well-cushioned shoes in general), but it is not really easy to find a Speadgoat 3 at the end of 2020 here in Russia. Can you advise any other models fitting good a narrow foot? Thanks in advance

I like the 3 a lot...so now that the 4 is out I bought two more pairs of the 3...and they were on sale due to the 4 being out. I saved a good amount of cash and I now have Speedgoats to last me through 2020...
